Spirituality can be complicated to the minds of those who don’t understand exactly what it entails. Of course, spirituality can be your “religion” your traditional practice, what you were born into be it family practice or culture, your mind and spiritual perception of the world and all within, etc. Spirituality is your belief, or disbelief in a God (or gods,) or Higher Power and anything relating to things beyond the physical and more.
Obeah is a very interesting topic and many people are interested in understanding it, the metaphysics of it, and how it works. And there are also some people who won’t even say the word obeah (Hallelujah Jesus). I have certainly written about Obeah enough on this blog for those of you who are avid readers to take this quiz and get at least one right lol.
The night has always been mysterious to many people. While the sun brings the day, which brings cheer and joy and liveliness, the moon seems to bring fear, sometimes terror. It does bring sleep and rest, which is good for the mind, soul and body, and there are many good things that come with it on a temporal and spiritual level. But one of the thing that the night brings, from a spiritual point of view, is a lot of spiritual activity. Much more than the day.
I believe awakening to our consciousness is so important. Many people speak of the awakening, or of consciousness, but do not really understand of which they speak. Consciousness has many layers and levels.
There was a time when I thought I couldn’t speak about this. It even pained me to remember the feeling of anxiety attacks when they first began. I didn’t know what it was, I just knew how I felt. It was worrisome for me because during those times, I thought I was losing my mind.
