From the Yoruba language, Aṣe (spelled with the Yoruba letter ‘ṣ’ which makes a shh sound). Aṣe is uttered after prayers and incantations. It translates to: “So let it be/May it be so” and can be likened to “Amen”. It is also the force and power and motivation behind any spiritual manifestation.
