First I want to thank all who has so far contributed to the Bloggers post, which you can see the page for it on top of the home page marked Contribute a Post. Keep the contributions coming as I enjoy reading them, along with my bloggers, peepers and sometimers. How blessed am I to have you all reading and most especially participating on my humble blog, where I tend to become a silly child in the comment box. Nuh mind me, mi neva had a childhood, (breed young and did haffi grow up fast) so when oonuh start di mad tings dem, the child in me comes out, and I so love her (sucks thumb and smile wid mi black bald head one eye dolly inna mi han). Mth, Yazzy, Cami, and KB and now Prosperity does not make it easy for me to behave as we enemy all share the same padded room ah Bellevue, anyone who has met me in real life knows this is how I truly am, mi love laugh, after all laughter is better than quarrel.
Here is whats coming up on Embracing Spirituality, during the next few weeks. I will be posting some videos on my traditional practice, Ifa/Orisha, of Babalawo’s here in Nigeria explaining our tradition. I will also post the same on my other blog www.ifaorishaunveiled (which is back up). I will do this so that people who are hearing of this tradition for the first time will have a clearer understanding of it, and also, information from the African’s perspective is hard to be found on the internet. Questions are welcome. Human beings (those asleep) must manage their indoctrination in way of respecting other peoples belief, and be able to hold decent, intelligent conversations without bawling out “de blood ah Jesus” like dem have tourette syndrome.
Also I ask that Bloggers who want me to write on a particular topic, email me or comment with the topic, which is pleasing to the site (spiritual topics), as in mi nuh waan no topic suggestion saying, “Dear Obara, mi man tief mi panty, please write pon wha him gone do wid it” or “Dear Obara, mi bredda betta lookin dan mi, please gi mi one Obeah spell fi mek him ugly and stop have more gal dan mi” or “Dear Obara please write on how mi can fight de duppy dem whey waan kill mi inna mi sleep.” Believe me I have gotten such request before. My first response was to write back and tell dem some colourful claat, but mi intellectual self calmed me down, Kingston 13 to de world!
I will also be doing a question and answers post, so that all the questions you want answered will be done on that post much like this one. I will be updating you at times for the many plans I have for the blog. We are fast approaching a new age (I hate that term), going toward a new dimension, a great shift is happening. The Zika crisis that is happening is because we are passing through a planetary region which houses some malevolent creatures who enter our world in form of these mosquitoes. This may be too hard for you to understand.
We have about 6 more months to pass through this current realm that the earth is passing through, after this then you will not be hearing about Zika as much though there may be some lingering effects. The virus deforms new babies because this is how the beings within the realm of where we are passing through looks. They have misshapen heads. If these children should be followed as they grow, you’ll realise that they will be more advanced than other children. The places that Zika attacks are places where the vibration is lower, is fear-based, and where there is not much spirituality. This will weaken the atmosphere or the covering of that particular nation or country or even town. There’s more to elaborate here, but I will not.
If you are concerned for this Zika, use Aloe Vera. Put it into water, cut it, and store it into a cool place. When you are ready to bath, tip some in a little container, soap your rag and tip a little onto it and wash your body with it from head to toe or use it in your bath water. This offers protection from it, it will not cure it if you have already contracted it. That one I will not put here. The new OMOU classes will soon be announced, all who are interested please begin to email me from now, so that I will have an idea how many people will be in class, this will determine the length (as in weeks) of the class. All topics are spiritual, so come prepared to learn deep things.
Also, I have been getting a lot of requests from Jamaicans living in Jamaica about learning the Ifa/Orisa tradition and also for spiritual help (personally and also for the country in general). First let me deal with Ifa/Orisa, the presence of this African tradition is already in Jamaica, but the practice is being taught there through the Cuban/Lucumi system (as many Cubans are migrating to Jamaica) instead of the original African system, which, in truth, is the way it ought to be taught in Jamaica, a country where we have never been disconnected from Africa. So therefore, I would like to get advice from Jamaicans who are interested in the tradition and how to approach this in mi bible beating country, as the country itself needs the assistance of the Orisas to quell some natural occurrences such as droughts, the Flat Bridge situation, the numerous bloodshed, and more.
Also, spirituality, which Jamaicans once dominated in knowledge has now been weakened by fool fool practitioners deceiving people because of lack of knowledge, and this I attribute to elders who did not pass along their knowledge rightfully as they should have. Or there are some who will realise that a person is gifted, and they, themselves, who are supposed to be knowledgeable elders use badmind and cut down the person, stagnate them, or change their gift (read this post).
Jamaica is very behind when it comes to spirituality and this may be because it is so bible-based, so there is no room for evolving consciousness. Also Jamaicans tend to be extremely fearful when it comes to anything that they do not understand and they are not willing to peep over the bible for higher consciousness for fear of blasphemy, (yet dem nuh fear fi wear de ugly church hat dem, big up mi granny purple hat wid de big red bow or ribbon as we say in Jamaica). Yet if Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Drake, and others were to publicly declare that they have shifted in their spiritual belief to either tradition, Buddhism, or anything else spiritual, then Jamaicans may readily accept these things because of wanting to be in the NOW (modernisation). Oh how the mighty have fallen.
My aim has always been to erect a spiritual school in Jamaica where metaphysics would be taught to bring my people back to themselves spiritually, although mi know seh di obeah man an’ ooman ah guh come out inna droves fi fling dem obeah, but this, I believe is one of my missions here, to put in place a spiritual system in my native land, outside of the church (oonuh watch how oonuh ah fling di bible dem offa mi).
I would like to plan a spiritual journey to Jamaica very soon in hopes of assisting the land itself, spiritually, into becoming what it once was, or as how I remember it as I grew there. The ancestors of the land need appeasement, the land itself needs to be spiritually fed. This is one of the reasons why so much bloodshed has been happening, more so than before. In doing so, the amount of human lives lost in Jamaica will decrease and stability will once more be upon our beautiful land. Of this I’m sure.
I’m asking for your feedback into how you believe I should approach this. Iron sharpeneth iron and the countenance of one brightens the next.
I love you all
