MY INTERPRETATION OF THIS WOMAN’S PERCEIVED “MADNESS”

Hello everyone, today I made a post titled “What Do You Think?” In the post there is a video attached, and in the video you will see a Guyanese (not Trinidadian as the video’s title wrongfully states) woman being interviewed. I asked that everyone try to interpret what they saw and I purposely did not comment because I did not want to influence your interpretations. Now, however, I am ready to break everything down, and by this I mean interpret for you what I, Obara Meji, saw with this woman and what I have heard from her and also all that could not be seen by the unconscious/unawake.

Click here to watch the video. As the interview begins, she first states her birthday 1976, the 23rd of July. She then goes on to say “…whereby I have authority to Cuffy.” This means that she has come into the world as an incarnation of Cuffy. After this she defines obeah as: “obedience unto God. To describe objects in a spiritual form, a physical form, and a craftsman form.”

What she means by this is that as she is a representation of the Guyanese rebel Cuffy here in this incarnation, the spirit of Cuffy has incarnated through her to teach through manifestations, both spiritually and physically, what the realms of spirit is and how they speak/teach us human beings through things that we see physically or how they manifest in codes but we may not understand. Go back to the first part of the video (0:07) where she poses with her hands above her head, her legs crossed, and the padlock between her legs, exposing herself. The first thing an unconscious would see is a mad woman baring herself half naked. But to the knowledgeable elder, they see the pose of a crucifixion and how it was done back in the time of when the Christ was supposedly crucified. This is how it would have been, the nails going through the wrist instead of the palms.

The padlock represents the purity of her stance. Her half nakedness seems salacious, but the padlock on her private area represents the innocence of the pose, her message, and what is being manifested through her. Remember Cuffy was a rebel and him manifesting through her to teach, using her in physical form to pass along messages, her exposing herself is a rebel act. Therefore in this way a piece of him comes through. Regardless of her becoming a mockery, she uses herself and her pose to convey a message – think of this in the form of a medium, mediums manifest spirit as how Simone manifests many different spirits through both language and mannerisms. In my daily life as Obara Meji, and my children and people who know me can testify, and perhaps some of you who will attend my online sessions, as a medium, spirit has access to me all the time. Most often, I will be speaking and I will stop suddenly and shout a greeting in English or in another language as I become possessed by a non physical who passes through.

@0:37 She states that she has just done her “4 corners of voodoo,” before this she first asks the date which is indicative that she is indeed under the influence of spirit. If you look at her, at this time while she speaks, she seems transgendered. Therefore I have concluded here that glimpses of Cuffy and other spirits who are tutoring her, show themselves through her in her physical form, her mannerisms, and words that she uses. She says that today is the day she has done her first “4 corner voodoo/witchcraft” which is “turn back” (this means back to sender or “tun back blow”). The 4 corners here and how she describes what she did makes sense because if she is sending a tun back blow and has sacrificed blood for this ritual, it means that wherever whatever she is sending back came from, whether it is the East, the West, the North, or the South (these 4 represent the 4 corners of the Earth), what she did will send it back, so she has cornered the enemy through ritual.

Now, she then explains the reason she has done her ritual which was on behalf of her cousin. However, in between her explanation, something seems to pass by and she notices it and greets it. But note that she greets it in perfect Arabic: “As-salamu Wa alaykum Akhi” with “akhi” meaning “my brother.” Notice that she says she likes obeah bad, as it means “obedience unto Allah,” also notice that she did not say that she was hurting anyone, just that she was defending her cousin in returning whatever bad obeah was sent to her by way of sacrifice.

After she speaks, the video cuts into her dancing with soca music in the background (I suppose who ever did this video wanted us to see her as crazy and laugh, or maybe music was truly playing which made her dance). Here, is where I realize that the frequency or vibrations of the spirits who are around her, or who inhabit her body, are very high and so she will behave in this way, giving a performance. Because to spirits, human beings (those who are unconscious) are foolish, so it is fitting for them to give a show. Of course her lower vibration makes her not able to stop making a nuisance of herself. She is not crazy but there are too many spirits riding her at once. The mad house are filled with people like these.

@1:27 she again gives her definition of obeah before stopping to say “Bismillah.” This she describes as “my life and my death is for the love of God and anything else I get involved with” (this last part meaning that anything she is apart of, God must be involved). Now Bismallah is Arabic and the word (which is a part of the phrase Bismillah al rahman al rahim) is described as “the true essence of the entire Qur’an as well as the essence of all religions.” Wahiduddin.net this description coincides with her definition of the word, as all religions devote their “life, death, and all else, to God or spirituality.”

During this, watch her eyes and movements from right to left as she watches something pass by and salutes it in Hindi language, identifying what it is by the language she now speaks. Remember what she first greeted was in Arabic, now it shifts to Hindi. “Om Namah Shiva,” she says. This is a greeting to Shiva, a Hindu deity of destruction and transformation. This greeting best translates to English as “I bow to Shiva.” TheSpiritualSun.com

It would make sense for his spirit to be present because Hinduism is practiced on a large scale in Guyana, therefore making the energies/deities a part of the environment. Next, she says something along the lines of “…I am authority…Foresee the water was born the 4th element to my sign, my sign is fire because I am a Leo” – what I believe she means by this is that she was born on the cusp of water and fire (July 23rd). The water sign, Cancer, is the 4th sign of the zodiac which coincides with her “foreseeing the water” before arriving as fire (Leo). When she says this she is speaking of her spirit before it received the body that it now inhabits which is her. Also note as she says my sign is “fire,” she makes the symbol of a Leo with her right hand and fingers.

This is why in some of my posts I always warn that never you judge or dismiss whatever you do not understand. At first glance, many would see this woman and laugh and criticize saying that she is crazy. Notice that so far in all of the manifestations that came through her was at first the pose which represented the crucifixion, then the language and greetings that she gave in Arabic indicative of Islam, and also spiritualism as in Palo Mayombe Zarabanda the Chief spirit with this practice is greeted As-salamu Wa alaykum, and also in other spiritual practices in West Africa spirits are greeted in this language. Here she covers much as in not only religion but spiritual practice. Then after, she speaks Hindi greeting Shiva, which is attached to Hinduism. She may need to be a little bit more grounded because as I watch her I realize that she is interacting with many different deities (cross cultures) and they are teaching her as she attempts to teach whoever she is speaking to with her explanations. The reason I say grounded is because those non physicals who she is not only seeing but speaking to and who are representatives of different cultures are all speaking to her at once. This may be the reason why people who do not understand the world of spirit and how it interacts with humans may write her off as being crazy. But for the grace of God, my ori and my guide, I can also tell you all that although I did not go out into the street and act as she has, I know her journey because I have been there, perhaps in a different way but there are similarities that I can identify with (i.e. speaking different languages and then some).

When I say I suffered to be who I am now, when I mention the television series Penny Dreadful and liken Vanessa’s awakening to my own, and also today when my friend sent me the video of this woman, I realize that we who are true spiritualists are very set apart from the rest of humanity. Please never judge, just try to understand.
