Hello everyone, I have not posted because I am super busy, and will be for the rest of the week, please forgive me, my natural loyal ways makes me feel as if I have abandoned you. This is to all my bloggers and peepers, regular people who, although you may not comment, I feel your presence here most often. However in my absence, please be kind to even strangers, be giving and helpful as you can, Regardless of what you think, the Universe is watching and judging.
If someone offends you and you see where you can forgive them, please do or at least try. Holding on to a grudge only imprisons you, while the offender lives their lives, with no thought of you. You must know when to release, work on it, for your sake and for your health and also your spiritual evolution. Do not try to fix some people you KNOW, will never change, you must see and know people for who they are, and leave them alone, some people are cut from a bad seed, and must fight their way through life and spread their malice and hate, if you encounter these people, do not allow them to exhaust your patience, or do not feel guilty of letting them go, you have your own mission to fulfill. Release them and move forward.
Be good to yourselves, one way of doing this is to smile, even if you have no audience, yes turn the frown upside down. It does not take much to smile, it also helps you to look youthful and pulls great energy toward you and your life. Be present in your life, if you are a dreamer, that is fine, but come back to yourself so that your spirit can feel your presence, in this way it will be able to fulfill its mission through you.
Meditate and pray always, this is important. Keep a clean home, it entertains good spirits and remove chaos. Minimize lies, they do come back to pinch you when you least expect it, love yourself, love your children, speak only positive words, try not to shout or get upset, no matter the problem there is a solution. Never gossip, it upsets your guides, face the truth as it shows up in your lives, and accept responsibility. Do not Judge, and do not go for the Law of an eye for an eye, it is ok to pray against your enemies, but never ask for God to kill them, (no one life belongs to you) just ask for victory over them. If you do something good for someone, do not curse them about it or hold it as black mail against them. Please work on your character, strive for peace and love and be a better person.
My prayer for you is………May all your enemies be scattered and be confounded, may the wicked mother in law come out of your life, or the wicked sister or brother who desire to hurt you, be brought to confusion. May anyone who bare false witness against you swallow their tongue and be disgraced. May all evil plot against you be destroyed, may God answer all you prayers. May you never lack, may no one use Obeah or evil measures to break apart your family. May you live your lives consistent with the laws of Nature. May Yeye Osun (sweet river goddess, who I serve) bless you all with her goodness and feed you from her bosom (abundance). May you walk a good path in this life and complete your mission here. May you find your purpose in life. May you never be deceived by anyone,…ase! Be good, I will soon be back.
I Love you all

Money triggers social insensitivity … and hard work
How does subtle exposure to the concept of money change our behavior?

STORY
Rational economics doesn’t always govern how we make decisions about our money in the real world. As part of our series Brain Drain with Marketplace’s Wealth and Poverty desk, we’re exploring the ways in which our minds are rigged to cost us money.
The third topic of our series: Money priming. That is, how subtle exposure to the concept of money can influence our behaviors.
When we’re exposed to money — even fake money or reminders of money — our behavior changes. Many studies show that people become less socially sensitive when exposed to reminders of the idea of money. They also work longer and harder on difficult tasks. Kathleen Vohs teaches marketing at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. She studies the psychology of money and tells us about some of her favorite experiments.

where is everyone?
I don’t know if he is a practitioner, but I know he is from Benin which is the focus of much of the documentary, so it’s possible he grew up in it. I hope the documentary is good too. We’ll see.
As far as the money thing, I think Biggie said it best, “Mo’ money, mo’ problems.” I think when people are attached to their money or material wealth, the ego gets out of control and creates negative spiritual energy.
@ Spiritual seeker I hope the documentary is good. Is he a practitioner? I am always skeptical of people making documentaries about African Spiritual Systems that are not a part of them
I agree Nyaha, I hate when they do these movies, it is some kind of exploitation of our culture and tradition, and I hate any Hollywood or even molly wood or gallywood production of this
Good morning good people. Thanks for the prayers Obara Meji. My goal this week is to smile at everyone I see AND every time I pass a mirror to smile at my reflection 🙂 When I heard the story about money on the radio, I was surprised to hear that science is catching up with what spiritualists have known and our people have known since our creation. Everything has energy and the energy that money evokes is negative and the consequences of that energy cause a physiological response that the human part of us rejects. I always wondered why people… Read more »
Hi Everyone! I finnally got another computer, so I won’t be a peeper anymore.
you are welcome Prosperity
Good night Obara and bloggers. I’ve been peeping watching and waiting. Thank you for your post Obara. Is only today I was reflecting on one of your posts where you stated that one should be present in their life in order not to miss the signs. This was all because I was so caught up in worries that I forgot my £5 change in the shop. Luckily I got it back as the cashier remembered me.
Thanks for the kind and wise words.
You’re welcome J. Hey Seeker and Lincoln
Thank you for this lovely post.
Hope all is well with you, Obara. I know you must be busy preparing for your trip.
Hi, Lincoln.
I just came across this. Djimon Hounsou (with his FINE self!) will be making a film about Vodun. This should be fascinating. I hope it gets some publicity.

Hey SS…keep up informed if we aren’t aware of the release.
Yep I agree about this money experiment- I have personally have said and used similar examples I have seen in my life- Money does make you less social. The most educated and well to do people I know are the ones with least friends and social interaction..
Blessed love OM-
