Good morning to you all, this week and also last week as been tiring for me, I do so much in one day, that I am backed up in some work that I have to do. It is by the grace and Olodumare and of Osun that I find that human beings love me very much and will wait on me to get around to them, please be assured that I do not take that for granted. Nobody has ever left me in wrath or anger, or at all and this is why I love you all! I praise the Lord, Haleluyerrrr!
Tonight is our book club discussion and Lalibela Nile who has provided the material will be moderating tonight, I am sure it will be fun and informative. Tomorrow I will post an exciting topic by or brain teaser blogger himself Yw, I am looking forward to it, as he is not an ordinary person, not ordinary at all. He has the ability to send his readers into a very deep thought mode, an mi nuh know bout oonuh, but me love it. I wanted to do a re-post today, because of me being tired, but I, for some reason believe that I am shorchaging you all if you open up your computers and do not see something fresh here on Embracing Spirituality. However there is a post which I will add to these my own thoughts, tell me what you all think.
Being tired or having low energy is not common for me, and I am of the belief that if you are faced with something, you must tell yourself that this thing is not so. You must believe that you are not tired, this is just a illusion, a mental affair, meditate upon feeling vibrant and healthy, meditation is crucial. Close your eyes and see yourself being active and all will being well, embracing total health. There must however be a deep belief in what you are doing, not a haphazard one.
The power of the mind is great and we often do not use the ability given to us by God. It is possible for a human to sit and meditate and run light throughout their bodies and heal. We are limited because we choose to be, not because we are. We already have the thoughts within our minds, that certain things we cannot do, despite motivational speakers raising up their fists and shouting “We can do it!, and we responding in kind. There is however a doubt in the back of the minds of many.
Growing up I was a hypochondriac, yes I was. Was! Not anymore, since I have embraced my spirituality I have come to realize that we are not/never alone and that if we believe and trust, our eyes will open up to all our possibilities and greatest potential. Now this is not a motivational speech or a “Yes you can! post, this is the truth and it is not a even hard thing to do.
Old time Jamaican people, use to say “Belief kills and belief cures”, many people attribute this saying to, no one can hurt them if they do not believe, but it is deeper than that. I do not think this what the elders meant by this proverb. I believe that they were speaking of the power of the mind, and having total belief, belief without doubt. Many people can I say “I do Not or I do Believe”, but deep down in the crevices of their mind, Doubt bars the way!
Several year ago I had made a post titled Doubt Bars the Way, By Dr. L. W. de Laurence, today I would like to share it again here so we may read and discuss it and perhaps add our own thoughts. I like de Laurence, I really do.
Doubt Bars the Way
Had the frog been as fleet-footed in the fields as it is in the hot cooking pot, it won’t have entered the pot….Yoruba Proverb![A stitch in time saves nine]
All religions are valid as long as it teaches peace and love…..Obara Meji!
There are no disappointments in life, only lessons learned…..Obara Meji
In regards to “Doubt bars the way”, I came across an interesting thought a while back” called Johari’s window. It can be used many ways but it is basically a self awareness model or tool. Interesting….here are a couple links on it.

You are welcome Charles

desire Nunu as oppose to need, we desire things we do not need, Nunu, and that give in to greed and lust, it spoils the spirit and limits the spiritual growth nunu

Hello fambo. Hope you are all in good spirits and well
” A mind which harbors doubt is a mind that is confused, and this confusion is not always apparent to its possessor.” I like this statement
Ok I understand that, but get rid of desire! But isn’t desire a big part of our volition. Don’t we need desire to drive us?
Glamour is when a person cannot see reality for what it is.It is when people become so bedazzled by earthly and material things, they have no concept of what is real or divine! Glamour, ego and and desire, if you are to become awake these all must go
they all create illusion, which will keep man in his slumber!
How do you define the word ‘glamour’ up top?
lol@ darkness and rain!
Edgar Allen Poe was a brilliant author… but dark and unhinged in many ways. I honestly believe Poe was a serial killer because the things he wrote about along with his moving around kind of gave me that about him. WIth poe I always see darkness and rain.
Edgar did say that he’s in his head too much and he couldn’t find his way out. Mi gone done read yah now
