AUDIO: EP. 1 – WAKING TO YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS (TRIAL)

I believe awakening to our consciousness is so important. Many people speak of the awakening, or of consciousness, but do not really understand of which they speak. Consciousness has many layers and levels.

One may awake to the fact that they have a purpose, but may not know what that purpose is or how to find it. Another may know their purpose, but not know how to begin the journey.

Others may know the journey, but not know what it will bring about or how it will affect his or her life. Others may believe that life is about achievements and the “Haves and the Have Nots“. They may see money as the solution to everything. These are the ones who are asleep, and we must assist them when we can.

(please allow audio to load completely before it begins to play)

To wonder why a billionaire would ever need assistance with coming into his consciousness only shows that the one who questions this is also asleep. We are children of light and this is how we must trod the earth, as children of light. The ones who are blinded by the illusions of the world, (and some of the illusion do include religions) are the ones who will have to incarnate again to live the same life all over again because they did not complete their mission.

When you are within the body living a human life, it most often feels sweet, no one wants to die. Yet, when one has completed his journey, and has been released from his human clothing, he experiences total freedom, and light consciousness. However, we don’t want to know that before the time comes.

Consciousness is knowing our true purpose as individuals and collectives, finding ourselves, releasing our minds and allowing it to work for us. Consciousness is shining our Light so others can see, and if others find their own Light through us shining ours, then they all pay-it-forward and do the same for whoever they are assigned to,

Yes, we are all assigned to another, or many. Consciousness is doing our work so that we can grow, evolve, become elevated, and become a beacon of Light for everyone.

Consciousness is our awareness of our worth, our spiritual worth, and to see and understand our spiritual growth. Consciousness is also heartache and pain, even some suffering. When we become conscious and have shifted through many levels, when the blinders have been taken away, we realize that what we think is, really isn’t.

We realize that what we have achieved has no sustainability in this world, that life as we know it is a lie, and that we have never experienced love because we ARE love. That hate is a fooling emotion. Hate is what we cannot face. When we become FULLY consciousness, we do as the baby does when he pushes from the womb and enters our world, we cry, but the tears are bitter/sweet.

Here is the first trial of a Podcast. On May 15th, I invited some bloggers to my home and together we discussed the awakening and touched a little bit on the current Earth’s shift and the Netflix show The OA.

Share with me your comments! Anyone who would like to join a future discussion, please comment down below or send me an email. I would love to discuss with you and so I invite all and sundry.

Love and light and stay awake,

Obara Meji

PS: You may hear sounds of the outdoors, cars driving by and more. We were recording right next to a large window. However, as this is merely a trial, I decided to upload the discussion anyway. Enjoy!

PPS: It matters not the path you are on, whether you are Christian, Muslim, practice Judaism, I welcome everyone’s opinion in these discussions because everyone is currently where they ought to be at this particular moment in life. Regardless of our religious or traditional beliefs, we all co-exist collectively on this plane.

I am so enjoying this podcast, I have experienced the jolting so much and I didn’t understand what it was. I am laying here just talking to my spirits and they lead me here. This is so helpful to me.

Hi Iyanifa Obara Meji,

Currently listening to the audio and enjoying it so far. I have encountered similar patients like that Brooklyn lady – two come to mind. An elderly Afro-Caribbean woman who told the doctors that she sees spirits. They do not bother her but tell her they are just coming to check on her and see if she is okay. Naturally she was referred to the psych ward. Another middle aged one had grossly black swollen legs – think Elephantiasis – and she said that her husband was responsible, that he was doing Obeah on her and had even killed her sister’s husband. It was sad that she also was dismissed as being unstable. So it is good to know what happens with Alzheimer’s patients because I encounter them all the time and always thought that they seemed like just an empty shell sans a spirit. Hopefully science will catch up one day but in the meantime, I really look forward to that post you if you ever decide to write it. Please consider addressing why younger people are being diagnosed with it. I have read about 30 year old being diagnosed with it.

Hope to listen to another podcast/roundtable discussion soon! Your efforts to spread knowledge are greatly appreciated as always.

Ps – the one or two people who kept interrupting you..hopefully as they progresses in the traditional religion, they will realise that you get further if you let an elder talk and wait patiently for the right time to ask questions. No offense meant, just an observation.

I love the idea of the pod. I listened till the very end and didnt want it to stop. It’s actually very kind of you to consider the lady (and others) struggling with reading. Can’t wait for the next..

Good day mums and ES Family. I enjoyed the dialogue of this podcast and I will always give props to you mums for allowing others an avenue to express they’re truths on consciousness and awakening. Irregardless of religious belief, race or gender you have always been respectful of others viewpoints. I can attest to your character that all when the viewpoint is sooo far left to what you believe or know you keep compassion for those who are different. Love and light, Queenie

Howdy Obara. I actually listened to the entire audio. Now this is rare as I do tend to have some level of impatience when it comes to listening/reading content as I tend to zone out or fastforward but this time I did no such thing. Upon the ending of listening to your audio the time said 2:22am. Again, this cannot be coincidence as it wasn’t even my intention to look at the time. Infact, it was more a feeling like the time was watching me and calling out to me to look at it. I have no clue if that made sense.

There was a question someone asked (I believe it was from Doug) about how to tell a vision from a thought and Obara answered it well. From my own experience I would say the easiest way to tell a vision is whether or not you consciously control it. As Obara mentioned you can tell when it hits you randomly. But there are times we may introspectively ask a question and we genuinely receive a vision. Now many of us will do so but then we tend to do very complex logical processes of deductions to come to an answer. Now in such a case we are consciously controlling our thoughts but then if a thought hits you without you consciously considering it then that is a vision.

The explanation Obara spoke on of Alzheimer’s and other mental conditions in relation to spirituality really speaks to me. What I would like to understand though is if when we do not or refuse to fulfill our life purpose if we all will spiritually go to other planes while our body remains in such a state or if there may be other things that may happen.

In retrospect, I now believe I have some idea of who I could be in a vague sense. I would also like to suggest to others, when they can, to sift through as much of their memories as they can as sometimes there are stuff hinting at things for you or about you that may perhaps was meant for you to ponder on, once awake.

Doug asked another question about if what we do here on earth affect that outside of earth and I totally agree with Obara’s answer. I would simplify it to “Cause and Effect” or “As above so below”. As Obara has mentioned, we are being observed by other beings. So it seems to me those beings will learn by watching us and thus it will influence their whole perspective as well. That’s a modest yet very powerful view.

Re: Those who have awakened to death as an illusion and their longevity. I have noticed these days we are now seeing more and more older folks who look very young. Infact I know (or come across) some older than me by atleast a decade yet they look as young, if not younger, than me. Has anyone noticed how the Chinese and Japanese tend to fall in such a category? What amazes me is that it is not just them appearing younger than they are but their memories are also sharp and intact and they move around pretty much like anyone at their best.

When you guys were talking about times when your spirit may leave your body temporarily can one of those signs also be sudden time lapses? I’m asking in conjunction to being physically awake for example: You are walking from your home and take a journey on foot that you know from experience takes 10 minutes but while conscious as 2 minutes pass you reach the end of your journey. In such a case you are fully awake and you did not zone out.

That was a nice interactive discussion and propz for taking into consideration those with seeing disabilities.

Thank you Obara, really insightful podcast. I could relate to some of the things said like I remember when I was younger, I always felt like I did not want to be around my peers like we were never on the same frequency. I loved being around older people and listening to them. Thanks again
