    • Ah prayer sweet sweet prayer! I believe in prayer. While I do not follow Christian religion I remember all the hymns my granny would sing. I often will break out singing just as she would. Prayer and singing go together. Thank you for your prayers and this post.

    • Beautiful commentary Erica, bravo! So happy you got received the post in the most spiritual way and how it was intended upon delivery!

    • When I wake up in the morning I say this prayer:
Thanks to the owner of the invisible world
Thanks to the creator who we praise first
As I have wake up today I behold the four corners of the world
I honor the sun rise, the sun set that has risen and will set to meet me in a healthy condition

      • The net work here is terrible, I will try to have them fixed

      • Bbeey, it IS working! I just played them. Check your WIFI or your browser

      • Hmm. Thank you so much ma. Just about 5 days ago, I received this Bible verse through a vision which spoke about prayers. Isaiah 56:7. And two days ago I saw my younger sister praying so hard. And today I am reading your blog talking about prayers. Now I know that the spirits are telling me to be more serious with my prayer life. Though i am a very prayerful person but sometimes the trouble of the world brings down the vibes and thereby growing cold. I think it’s time to hit the fire burning. Thanks and God bless you for the encouragement.

    • Ha!!! Wale!!! (Sounding very African right now)……You don’t know the power of the Yoruba Language O!!! Waleee O, how come?!

And you are Yoruba! The Yoruba language is a tonal language which is why your people head most often are big and at times shape funny ( not criticism but fact with a reason) bare with me.

The intonation of your beautiful and classical language (not Lagosian Yoruba), but what the ancient spoke and what village people speaks allows for the Brain to grow big.

No wonder Africans are bright in schools, and know how to pay the yahoo game (sorry I had to put it in there, cause it takes brain to do that).

Even my Igbo people who I love as well, their beautiful melodious language which is so musical can reach heavens gate.

English language carries no vibration and is the least to take off from the gate, it is as heavy as lead.
      .
Notice Roman Catholic Church killed Latin as a common language and kept it sacred so it can be used in in exorcisms, to expelling demons.

Why do you think they did that?

Plenty to share but I will share it in my private group. Ah Wale!! Wale!!! Pray in Yoruba O, if you want your prayer to reach to the feet of God.
You are from a powerful tribe as for my Igbos and other tribal folks here.

Look at the fire language of the Jews (my blood line is Jewish from my grandmothers side), a very tonal language (spitty, but tonal). Listen to Arabic (also quite spitty) and Chinese tonal (like a bunch of pots and pans falling on tiles floors). I have more to say but you lot do not engage in
conversation so I will stop here.

    • Hi Pearlie, welcome to the blog! and thank you for your input on the question. I really like what you said here, although I won’t say yay or nay. I want to see what others say, but I do appreciate you. Thank you and welcome.

      Peace and blessings to you

    • Inshallah! Th am you very much!

    • You are welcome Tessy, blessing. Yes O, Yoruba is a very powerful language and very sweet to the ear

    • Yw my dear

    • I am always here to engage

    • Yw my baby Sue

    • I understand but life is also comprised of many test and we must endure so that things become easier. Remove fear and challenge whatever comes your way and you will WIN.
Welcome to the blog, peace and blessings to you.

    • Thank you so very much ma, your posts are always timely.

    • Hi Obara, I needed this post. This (is), no was, something that I was lacking. I remember many years ago in New York, I was going through some issues and I found knee city, and prayer and reading the Bible was my only refuge. Obara, when I said I was deeply in the word and prayerful it even blew my mind. I had a hunger for the word and couldn’t wait to find a quiet place to talk to the almighty.

There was nobody sweeter than him, the words would just flow, praying was my everything. Now, I hardly pray, and when I do, it’s a struggle, to find the words to say. It’s not fluently as before, it lacking depth, sincerity, heart and self. I have to struggle to pray and this is daunting and frustrating at times, and it shouldn’t be.

Nevertheless, I’m reclaiming back my prayer life and shall command my days. By the way, your prayer/singing reminds me of how people in Zion pray, and I find it beautiful.

Thank you for another uplifting, educational, and informative post my Spiritual Mom, appreciate you so much. Love always.

      • Georgia Gal, remember mi tell unu here sey mi use to jump poco lol. Zion is my home, I love it even now I remember it fondly.
I was a leadress (nice and cute caws mi a hot gal long time and nah change) when I was there and a warrior on the battle field, hey mi luv.

When it came to prayer warrior no one like mi Lolol.
Those were school days. Today I am calm and strong,
        Silent but deadly lol.
Strong like a Bull but not Hog like if you get the drift
There is a reason you cannot pray, I cannot tell you because I have thrown the question out for people to answer so let’s see

    • Good to see you here Hamyfat, long time. Blessings my dear!

    • Yes because I only call and attract light here. All are welcome even the Athiest or the Angnastics. There is love for all. Iron sharpens Iron, I judge no one.
I do observe Ramadan because I love fasting and fasting is a spiritual thing not beholden to jany One religion

    • Jean Maurice I am touched by this commmet. Please reach out time because I think you had commented saying things was a little rough?

Let me know if that was you, if so, reach out.

Yes I was very young those times but there was something that always spoke to me and I knew to pray for the Doctor, Nurses the anesthesiologist and also the whole entire hospital even the instruments they were using.

I never even realized until you pointed t out that I never prayed for myself, wow.
But I am always guided by spirit and the wonderful thing is I am obedient to them

    • I love you too my dear!

    • Thanks Sue but I cannot respond now, let me wait to hear from more people

    • You are welcome my dear, blessings!

    • Well appreciated the prayer post, Obara. When some people think that they are praying the right way. You just show us here that we need to have a pure heart and be sincerity when we pray. I really enjoyed the prayer you shared with us. It helps a lot for me to see & adjust the way I pray to God regarding things or about things.

I tell my kids the same thing, when they wake up first thing in the morning they should pray to God first or give God Thanks for something.

Thank You for this . Nuff Love to you too.

    • Why the whole world live call me Ma? I know it’s a sign of respect but Randy I am still young and youthful. Leave de Ma please,Nigerians sing it to me mornjng, moon and night Lolol

    • Aboru Aboye Iya,

Blessed be to you and yours, home and abroad.

Once again, thank you for your selflessness. It is not surprising, but the consistency with which you just be who you are, is mind blowing and enlightening. In your brief prayer, you used “we” from start to finish and it made me emotional in a good way. It touched my heart!

I have learned a lot from you, and this is why the post resonates deeply to my core. No matter what, i stay grateful and i express gratitude for the different things(a plate of food, going out and returning safe, waking up etc) because i have understood the importance of gratitude for the intangible things through you. I have also gotten to a point where i just say “i am grateful” not because of something sweet happened but because i cannot even place my hands on why, but the urge to say it comes and i just do and smile cos it usually feels good.

When i wake up i pray. I honor my Ori, my ancestors, my parents, God, my guardian angels, spirit guides and then i speak in the present(my day is blessed, i am light, i am different positive forms of abundance, i am safe, i healthy, good things come to me with ease. As i am all these, i share it with all who lack these in the universe. May the hungry be fed, may the homeless be sheltered, may the sick gain good health, the helpless find help, may it all come to me and them with joy and not sorrow. And some days i just wake, give honor and then ask for nothing but just say thanks for everything. I do this in English and my native language which I don’t know how to speak fluently, but i force it in there hahahahaha, my ancestors and spirit will surely understand. I get the urge to try using my language so i just go with it even if not free flowing.

To the question. As far as i know presently, there are a few reasons for people not praying anymore and not just one answer.

      * Their prayers have been answered and they have gotten carried away with the good life now happening to them. I usually refer to this as carnal requests, that are answered to test the individuals resolve.
      * Inability to hang in there till the end. Cos this person has prayed for ages and they feel like nothing is coming out, so they just give up.
      * Someone who has attained a super high spiritual elevation(like yourself). They don’t pray, but put in actions to get result, cos they have the codes to manifest things.
      * Also someone who is at that point in their journey, where they’re on autopilot to discovery/awakening.

Thank you for the prayer tip you shared. I shall inculcate this in my routine. I love you ma’am, you’re a priceless gift.

Peace be upon you and yours. Ase Ase Ase!

      • Kay my dearest God son for that you truly are. I have not heard from you in a while, why now? Please hug your wife tightly for me I don’t want to forget her.

I love you very much and pray for you and her daily.

Whenever I don’t hear for you, I send my spirit out to peep on you, lol.

Thanks for the comment, please do not stay far away from me as you know that you are my spiritual son, and you are an jnitaiate.
The answer to the questions all are good however I cannot say yea or nay but know that the answer lies in between all the words you have written but I cannot say.
Peace, love, blessing, proposer out to you my darling dear. I love you as if I born you self.
        Nigerian English, lol

    • True that Ice! Work and pray, pray and work!!!

    • Hi Elorm, thank you for coming out of hiding. As to your answer, it’s a good thought process though I can not yet say yes or no to the answer so that others can still comment their thoughts too.
But stay out of the shadows from now and into the light! Welcome to the comment section!!

    • Another beautiful post! Question – is it considered better to pray affirmatively (I am, I receive, etc.) rather than to ask/plead as we are taught?

I wonder if affirmative prayer may be better received because it is said as a belief and often allows the person praying tap into elements of the power of speech. Or if praying by asking may be better received because there is a default level of humility involved (as Christians are taught to be humble).

I think some people will stop praying because:
      – They feel they’ve tapped into a place where they can create the reality themselves and no longer need to pray

      • Thanks for answering the question Sim, of course I cannot say yay or nay until others have tried but thanks. Yes, it’s always best to pray in the affirmative, this is the way I do it

    • You are welcome my darling

    • Greetings teacher, wah make mi love cry soh looooooool mi go check the blog if there is a post about cry cry ppl. I can recall in my earlier time, prayers for me were like singing songs, it takes me in to a trance then sometime movement would come (dance) like that of a Ballerina. forgive me if I am wrong but singing the words it carries a frequency like codes, I don’t even know if am explaining my opinion correctly but it carries a wave that is echoed.

      Love and light
      beautiful teacher

    • To answer the question up above. Why some people find themselves not praying any longer? Is because they don’t feel connected to God. It’s Like broke telephone. Like some people would say, ” It like God dont hear me or I can’t hear him…Some, people get busy with every day task of life, work, school, bills, themselves, their problem, etc. Too busy with things. Some people belief or faith in God is Low. Very low.

The stop believe in things or God. They may feel God is taken long to answer their pray or request. Stop believing.

      Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

*That why some people or we as people should continue to pray or pick it back up and fight back. Pray more. Good or bad time.

    • 1- When I began my journey (not of my own doing, spirit dragged me into submission) one of the things I was opened up to was speaking in unknown language. Mine were many and never like the Christian Pastors. This is a power given to certain people and it works off energy and vibration.

2-Only the beggar on the street and the lunatic has no enemy or perhaps the enemy has beat them down to nothing and this is the result but everyone has enemy. Without them the work would be lost. They have their place.

3-The Christ Consciouseness is with us but this needs to be explained thoroughly for everyone better understanding

4- Wealthy people have the most problems. You stay from a far and look at their glamorous lives, however you have no idea of what they deal with in their private lives. There is a man I know that is a billionaire and his first son has so many problems the parents are always running all over the world seeking help.
Warren Buffett says he will give away most of his fortune before he dies.

5- There is a great Greek philosopher by the name of Thales of Miletus. By the way, when I say “philosopher”, these men had reached heights of higher consciousness (while in physical form) that had discovered spiritual truths. But anyway, in a story they tell of him, despite his brilliant mind, Thales was very very poor. You will find that most high spiritual people are of humble living, sometimes to the point of abject poverty, especially in ancient days. Because of his poverty, people taunted him, like ordinary people usually like to do to spiritualists, saying “If you know so much, why aren’t you rich?”

But Thales told them that if sages did not have great prosperity, it was simply because they did not value wealth. But from his knowledge of Astronomy, Thales could predict that there was going to be a large crop of olives— but this was predicted during the height of the winter season. So who believed him?

And so Thales raised a small amount of money and bought all the olive presses of the community. And when the spring came, his prediction was true, and large crops of olives came in season, making everybody in demand of olive presses, and making Thales extremely wealthy very easily.

He could have enjoyed it, but instead he gathered all the merchants of Miletus and gave all of his earnings away to them.

The point of the story and the reason Thales did this was to show how easy it is for a Philosopher (or spiritualist) to be extremely wealthy. But material wealth was not the wealth that one on a spiritual path searches for. Material wealth is not a sign of lack of suffering— in fact, it was one of the many pitfalls of humankind, who, in their unconscious state become bedazzled by illusory things that actually take from them more than it gives, and often creates only more opportunities for a greater ego, making humans become even further away from consciousness. Not material wealth itself, but the desire for it. A similar story exists for the Buddha who left his palace and princeship behind to take on a life of poverty, and even for Jesus, when the Jews asked for a savior a “lowly” man born of a carpenter in a manger came forth. Every religion, every tradition, has taught humanity the lesson of embracing spiritual wealth, the true wealth, and letting go of the false desire of material wealth.

And just like Thales, humans would never have to want of material things if only they were filled with spiritual things.

Every time millions of human beings yearn for wealth, kill for it, fight for it, hate because of it, experience jealousy over it, cry for it, there are negative forces who feed on this energy for their own sustenance. And humans are left shells of themselves, remaining in a lower consciousness which carries over through lifetimes, and will ever be unfulfilled, in want and in need.

Opulence, splendor, is a fallacy. True wealth is knowledge, wisdom, understanding, compassion and profound peace. This is true wealth.

However it takes a certain type of consciousness to understand this.

The question you posed is a very good one, and I think I should make a post on it.

Attend the meeting this weekend to learn more about spirituality and life.

    • You know Aji you may be psychic. I was thinking of writing a post on that topic because it is a topic that many has asked me about and it is linked to a very strong and potent spiritual energy.

However because of its raw energy I wondered how to make it post friendly and not make some people uncomfortable when reading it, even myself. I am not explicit when writing by but I have gotten emails from young teenage peole and I need to be sensitive to the content I put out for even their sake, even though they should be aware of some of the things I teach and will be teaching here.

I will ask spirit on how to approach this subject so I can write on it, since anything concerning Sex or sexual behaviors invokes spirit beings, malevolent and benevolent.

    • ASÉ ASÉ ASÉ IRE O

    • As we embrace Women’s History Month, my heart swells with admiration and gratitude for Obara Meji, a beacon of love, wisdom, and spiritual guidance. Obara, your healing touch, your profound teachings, and your role as a spiritual mother have painted my life with strokes of kindness and enlightenment. Your unique blend of Ifa-Orisa practice, philosophy, and metaphysics has been a gateway to a world I once could only dream of—a world where spiritual enlightenment knows no bounds.
Your commitment to sharing your journey and insights online has guided me and many others, offering sanctuary and clarity in times of turmoil.

Your work goes beyond healing; it is a powerful call to discover our spiritual essence amidst the world’s chaos. The anticipation for your stories, novels, and speeches is immense, as they promise to further your mission of enlightenment and connection.
Obara, your influence has reshaped my world. Through your guidance, I’ve discovered paths and truths I never knew. Your teachings gently nudge us to look inward, embracing our journeys with love and an open heart. You are more than a teacher; you are a luminous guide leading us to our most authentic selves, and your legacy is a breathtaking reflection of the transformative power of spiritual connection.

And about your latest post, Obara, wow—just wow! It was a treasure trove of wisdom that left me both enlightened and eager to create. Your words on the futility of vengeance struck a chord with me, echoing truths I’ve witnessed and felt. When you shared, “I have met so many people with a vengeful spirit… It lives within the mind of persons who, often, do not have proof of whatever harm they believe has been committed against them,” it resonated with me deeply. Your insight into the self-destructive nature of vengeance and the importance of letting go has been a golden nugget of truth, enriching my soul.

I’m brimming with gratitude for your teachings and the spiritual nourishment you provide. Your words are not just lessons; they are the seeds of creativity and peace in my life. Obara, thank you for everything. Your wisdom, spirit, and love have been a profound blessing, and I am eternally grateful.

      • Georgia I am touched. Thank you for this. I am
Humbled by your words and often time when I sit down to write, I ask myself what’s the point. Many read but do not interact, may peep, and there are many who are sometimes, silent here, so I wonder if my words are echoing through an empty hall.
        I am
Naturally kind, I am a giver from the heart so naturally I want to warn and teach you all so much. I want to share so many things with you but the absence of commentary and interactions makes me feel as if I am wasting my time and so I write but the depths I want to go to, I feel as if I can no longer go.

Yet here you are with a cyber embrace of peace, love and kindness to me along with beautiful words that I feel.
You are beautiful, kind and a child of light. I sincerely love you. Thank you my darling dear.
Your words will echo in my ears all through this night.
        Love, Light, Life

        • ASE’, Trust me many read but are scared to comment. I used to be one, now I’m not. Love you Obara.

          • Many of them have told me so, but why are they scared, please explain this to me

            • Someone wrote that they might be scared to ask for help or clarity, thinking others will think badly about them, etc. When I found your blog, I wanted to know more about Zion and spirituality, so I searched the internet and found you. I’ve read so much of your blog but never commented because I didn’t want others to know I was seeking out spirituality because it might seem taboo.

You know, in Jamaica, they call it “obeah.” I didn’t want anyone to know about my business, even though my real information was nonexistent. Some seek answers and find them through your blog but are scared to comment or ask questions. Some might be too lazy to comment and thank you, although you’ve indirectly helped them.
Some might only read your blog to see what they can gleam to practice evil and, therefore, won’t comment or ask questions because they fear that you might “read them up” and see their evil ways and thoughts. Whatever the reasons, I know that numerous people have read your blog, gotten information from it, and applied it to their lives.

I’ve started to comment, and thank you. Others fail to understand that by interacting with you, you can help them and others more. People always say that communication is the key to success, and I love communicating with you because I want to be successful and know more about spirituality and my purpose. I’m usually an introvert, so I tend to be shy and cautious, but I love reaching out for clarity.

If you are reading this, please feel free to comment and ask questions on the blogs. Obara loves this; tell her if she writes something that touches your heart or even helps you. There is nothing wrong with typing and saying thank you or asking for more clarity. Trust me, Obara, don’t bite.

              • Yes, GeorgiaGal tell them and speak it to them… Nuff love to everyone. Everyone has their time. Obara is the teacher. Our spiritual teacher. You can ask her anything here or in private.through her email address. Anytime. When you are ready.

                Everything that do & say.

              • Thank you for this Georgia G. All the post that is written here will have an impact for the future to come.

We are heading toward a season of existence here on this earth plane that has never occurred before and there is a saying that nothing is new under the sun, but somethings will be unfolding that will marvel earths citizens.

I thank all of who are here with me, who reach out and those like Lincoln, you, TCanada and more that are regularly here making me know that I am not alone here.
The Earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof. Peace!

        • Obara, you are never wasting your time writing these blogs to us. Yes, there may be absent in some comments but there are alot of eyes looking in and reading your blogs. • Ase O!! Thank you Wale, blessings to you and yours!

    • Thank you so much for explaining the difference between a vengeful spirit and revenge. This is amazing read that has you thinking about ourself or people around us or in our live.

My husband is a man that hold old grudge for years. He like revenge of thing or toward people. I don’t like revenge or vengefulness. I had to learn a long time, years to let go of things that people do or say about me. And like you said though your other reading Obara, we need to pray for people.
That what I do. Pray for people who or say or do bad things toward me. Even my husband right now. Everyday.

When you wrote this at the end of this post, “So let your body be a vessel of light, and not of darkness”.I was like yes. Light not darkness.

    • Thank you for sharing this indeed. Well appreciate it.

    • Email me and let me give you a prayer to pray to calm the house down. Often time forces enter these people an come at you. You must remain calm when he is in rage. Although beingbJaican it is hard, you know how we are. However surpass that and don’t answer him. Let him hear himself shout and be terrible. It will play back in his mind when he is alone.
There are some colors you should not wear in the house or use in the house. Email me and I will tell you what I can.

      • For sure. I am going to email you regarding this. I will take your advice & listen to what you suggest to me here. Remain calm,.
I am just getting tired of it, Obara. Mentality &Spirituality
It seem to be getting worst at time. 4 years now it been going on like this.

    • I will try to announce it as soon as possible. I

    • Sorry, Big Up Everyone Here……

    • Thank you Wale. Blessing Always to You….

    • Awww Ada, thank you

    • Thank you my dear

    • Thank you

    • This is very insightful. Do these things have the same spiritual ramifications if not acted upon?
Like you mentioned above, things like jealousy are often referred to as emotions or character traits, is it possible to feel or experience jealousy, not act upon it – and maintain spiritual progression?

      • A very good question Sim. The answer is that it depends on that feeling and how the person deals with it. Remember everything is Words, Thoughts and Deeds.

If a person feels jealousy and do not act upon but it remains in the mind causing resentment and bitterness then yes it still an oppressive thought that will affect them.remember THOUGHTS.

However if a person is able to drive those thoughts away and admonish themselves for feeling this way and pray against such bad ways, then they are on the road to recovery.

Introspection is the best way for us to move forward, for we must judge ourselves first.
We must acknowledge our faults and bad behaviors and try our best to change for the better version of ourselves.

        • Yes, that What I talking about. So true.. “We must acknowledge our faults and bad behaviors and try our best to change for the better version of ourselves.”

That what I am working on & asking God guide to do & also change me to do. Change for the better version of myself.

Why is it a lot of people don’t want to acceptance their fault or behavior? Why do some believe they are their are the own& they are untouchable? And believe he or she is for sure going to heaven? No man know the hour he or she is going to die or leave this earth. What believe you going to heaven? & not hell?

        • Wow! Thanks for the response and such a great post

      • Amazing question? Good question to think about?

    • I love it

    • God Bless you that you able to speak with your husband about topics like this. I am not able too any more. For years nows. , Mne is to different. He think no one know anything but him. (LoL)

I agree with you on that EllaGold. “Somehow ‘thank you’ seems too insufficient to express the gratitude I feel from this blog…”My words feel small to express how I feel inside.

    • Received Ella Gold, lovely name by the way. Energy transfers and I can feel it through your writing.

Thank you my dear, and I appreciate your comment.

Iron sharpen Iron and the countenance of one brightens the other.

Love and Life to you my dear!

    • Ase’

    • My husband says that God is about Revenge . I don’t believe that and think that. God is merciful & graceful. He says that why he about revenge. My huband is revenge with things &peoples to a degree. Hé a man that don’t let go certain things.

When you wrote this part in the post ,Obara “” Revenge walks with a family of negativity, (again, hatred, bitterness, anger, etc.). ” I could see that andar also agree with that too.

What do you Think about this Obara, God being revengeful?

      • The Christian God is revengeful as it is described in the Bible, but then again the Christian God is described (or understood) as if he is human.

It is man that writes the Bible so man has written mysterious things his God to have ways like himself.

God, the absolute has no emotions and therefore is not vengeful.

However you all should be mindful of your literal interpretation of the Bible or any spiritual or esoteric text.

If the Bible describes God as vengeful, it may mean something other than what an ordinary human limited mind can fathom.

It may mean that “The Spiritual (God) responds to the law of Causation or the Law of correspondence or that of vibration.

There is wisdom in the Bible but only if you can read it from an initiate perspective.

If my baby pet were to get read the Bible his own perspective would be of his own limited mind.
Life is about perception and unfortunately people tries to quality bad behaviors

        • Ma’am i feel like the people who wrote the bible tried to mix oil and water, in the way that it is presented and also how it is thought. Hence the confusion and literal interpretation of a majority followers.

    • Ma’am Obara gives simple interpretation to deep things, but it still retains its depth and even reveals more depth. It’s massive!

    • The message in this post is profound. When you eschew yourself of these traits, people see you as weak or meek. If only they knew better.

This is eye opening ma’am thank you.

      • Yes because some things written here have to be coded. The minds to go back and forth with me on certain topic are not here to do so, if they are herethey do not comment. Glad to see you here with us today Kay. Peace and blessings to you and yours
