Growing up in Kingston Jamaica, Christianity was forced upon me. There was no other choice!. My mother would cook her delicious Sunday dinner, and would demand that we attend service, (she did not go), or else we could not eat. Of course there was no choice with that demand, after all who would sacrifice not going to church over receiving their Sunday dinner?, certainly not I!!. Sunday Service at Saint Stevens Presbyterian Chuch was boring as usual and so was Sunday school, I would look forward to going home and stopping on the way at the bumpy face man who had a stall at the corner of Lyndhurst Road and Cross Road, where I would buy my Banana Chips and bag Juice, with some of the money I withheld from the ever-present collection plate. In my Childs mind, God was rich, he didn’t need all this money.
Miss Will who lived in our yard was a christian, “Hallelujah Jesus!!, Glory to God”!!, was her favorite words to scream out, while twisting and gyrating her body as if in spirit. Yet she was the most terrible and tormenting person. She said that she was an Evangelist, and would preach the WORD!!. LOL…at all times!!. Yet Miss Will was a suspected lesbian or bisexual or at least that was the word in the community, but didn’t the bible say something against that?. Before I left Jamaica, I remember as a young child clearly going on my knees and asking God to guide me and protect my family as we were to migrate to America. I asked God to guide me onto my right path, and even though I do not know where I am going when I go to America, please allow me to go and pull me back to you when the time is right.
I myself have experienced the wickedness and treachery of the so-called christians. Jesus Christ was remarkably, He was perfect. A perfect soul that came into a physical body to teach the world. He was not Christian, He was a Jew, and as such subscribed to their laws and religious teachings. Fanatics has taken his teachings and his life and has made it into a religion that is supposed to teach love and all the good things of life, and has turned it into their own way of condemning all of who they believe does not abide by their biblical laws. Aye!!.. “Christians I like your Christ but I do not like you Christians!!.”….Mahatma Ghandi… I feel the same way. This post is no way intended to berate and curse the Christians and Christianity. But I am baffled at their hypocrisy and I abhor it.
I went visiting a church once in Brooklyn New York, with a friend of mine who was Gay, a male. The church was hot and jumping. We enjoyed ourselves, while the church was in session I noticed a group of men were giving my friend the EYE!, and he noticed also, all the men were Pastors and One was a Bishop. The next day I called my friend who had invited me to the church to tell her of the wonderful time that I had, my friend answered the phone, puzzled, I hung up and called again, he answered again, I called out his name and he assured me that it was him,…only to find out that the Bishop of the church was the woman’s room-mate and he had won the affection of my friend from a stiff line of competition for the new meat that was visiting, and in the middle of the night my friend and him hooked up. Now my point is that this was a Bishop who competed with the other men for the affection for my friend while Church was in session!, and THEY are the ones to attack gays!, and homosexuality while committing the very act themselves!!. Then there was this girl who asked to live with me when she found herself homeless, she was a Deaconess in the church, the Bishop (female), at the time advised me not to put her up, because I was known to help everyone. When I turned the woman down from coming to live at my home, she tried to make my life a living hell in the church. I could not believe. I would be in church and she would pass me and deliberately push me forcefully, the first time it happened I convinced myself that it was an accident even though she had stop speaking to me. Then it happened again, that was when I had to nip it in the bud and call the attention to the elders in the church who then encouraged me to fight her!!..?? Fight her they said!!…I asked if they were serious and the Bishop said if you do not you are a fool!…
Christians!, I like your Christ but I do not like you Christians!. So judgemental!, yet your bible says “Judge not least YOU be Judge!”. and also….
|Lk. 6.3738, 4142|
|1||Judge not, that ye be not judged.|
|2||For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mk. 4.24|
|3||And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?|
|4||Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?|
|5||Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.|
|6||¶ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you
wonderful teachings if only you Christians would practice it. King James you have done a wicked act on the minds of the so-called Christians!, may you reap your reward from where you reside now somewhere in the realm or where you call heaven!.
