Honouring Obara Meji!!!
I have seen Obara Meji, in her usual big hearted manner, celebrating the solar return/earth day/birthday of many a blogger so it is only fitting that I/we celebrate hers. This is a short but heartfelt post celebrating one of the most admirable women that I know.I came across this blog at a low point in my life. Walking a spiritual path in this religious wasteland called England can be a lonely existence. I read one post and was hooked, in fact I remember spending hours just reading one post after another. It is clear that spirituality lies at the very center of your life. You pour your heart and soul into every post and it is safe to say that you always leave us extremely impressed, emotionally moved, and definitely inspired. For me, each post is communion with the Spirit world itself.
Equal in distinction is your incredible Iwa Pele, the generosity of your spirit toward any and every person. I truly appreciate how unfailingly gracious you are as a teacher. No question is too irrelevant or ill conceived. You are truly one of a kind; one that I know will not pass my way again, so I am truly grateful that my Ori lead me to your blog.
…and to your unvarnished sense of humor which I absolutely adore, and speaking of which, I will parrot back what you once told a blogger “Mi glad de day yuh madda finally gi yuh fadda ah lickle piece and yuh swim come ashore” lol..
Obara Meji, I wish you a very happy birthday!!! I love you, honour you, thank you, and salute you. You have taught me what it means to lead a fearless life, and when the time comes, how to live up to a calling and to be of service. May you continue to be blessed and favoured by Olodumare, the mothers, our mother Oshun, the Orishas, the ancestors and spirit helpers for many years to come! Ase ooo!!!
