I have posted the post written below several times since I began this blog, and the daily prayer post below this one was a post I had up on the site before, where I encouraged bloggers to put their daily prayers there in the comment box. In the post I have several prayers with different religions and traditional practices use. I believe in the power of prayer, I believe that prayer can change many things it can, it can! Today please pour your hearts out in prayer in the comment box, the world is in crisis, and prayer is needed, do your own service to humanity and offer a prayer, a sincere one today. Pray for the world, pray for everyone.
The Power of Prayer

Although it sounds cliché, I am convinced that prayer is the answer to everything. Irregardless of religion or whatever belief systems we as humans engage in or not engage, the power of words repeated to whatever divinity can give us the desire or result we seek. Whether you believe faithfully or even if you are a little doubtful, the power of prayer will not fail you, but only if it is approached with a mind and heart that is truly set on those desires that are asked for in the prayer.
The universe in its wisdom will label your prayers in the order of importance and urgency. For example a person may pray for money and not receive neither money or a job in which to earn that money, but that same person has health and life. The universe has given wealth to you, because health and life are priceless and cannot be bought, but because we are so fixated on the physical dollars we cannot appreciate that which has been given to us in terms of wealth, health and life, because our lowly human mind cannot understand that of the Divine. Now we ask the question…. who do I pray to when I don’t believe in God or my belief in God is not very strong, I do not understand the whole concept of who or what is God, so if and when I pray what happens?….. To understand God is to BE God yourself. No one understands who or what is God, and it is not for us to judge those who do not believe nor do we try to force our knowledge on said persons, however the focus here is the power of prayer, and everyone does it, even if it is only called a wish. The focus on the divinity called God as the churches do and also which is the human obsession is WRONG!!, because our belief in that Divinity is worship within itself. Rather our focus should dwell on nature, our environment and everything within the earth, as the earlier people of our times did, (our ancestors) and doing so would help us get more in tune or attuned with that which is God.
Prayers or incantations are what all religions and traditional practices have in common, and as such it should be explored more often, not as belonging exclusively to any institution, but what it constitutes as a LONE tool of progress in humanity. The practice of prayer whether public,or private, ritualistic or lofty, petitionary or for thanksgiving, is deliberate and can be used with words or songs or even chants. It is an intimate connection to the divine.

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be critical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

A Hindu Prayer for Peace
Oh God, lead us from the unreal to the Real.

When you think about it some ppl pick the fruit from the tree before it drops. You can relate it to not rushing our lives and everything happening when it is suppose to. Thank you God for life first and foremost. Thank you for the many blessings you give to us each day. Even when those blessings are sometimes trials and tribulation, I thank you for were it not these trials we would not learn or change the way we do things. I thank you for protecting us from evil and witchcraft and keeping us safe.

I saw a post whereby this lady bought her pet snake a live rat to feast on. Much to her astonishment, they became best of friends (the photos showed them cuddled up together, fast asleep). I pray that we shall follow the animals lead and became united. That we shall evolve into peace makers.
On a personal note, I pray for wisdom and understanding. I also pray for ability to forgive and forget (I tend to attract assholes more than good people so my experiences with people tend to be negative).
