THE PRINCIPLE OF MENTALISM – ALL IS MIND AND MIND IS ALL

Hi everyone! Below is a short post on the Principle of Mentalism, but as usual, I will give my own introduction to the subject. All is Mind and Mind is All, and this one sentence tells us that we create our own reality, just as the Earth and all within is a mental creation of the Divine Source (God), then that fragment of the Divine lays in what we as human beings call our “mind,” and through this mind, is where thoughts are created.

Thoughts are created and when put in action or speech, they manifest as reality, making us human beings creators within our own rights, which sets us apart from the animals within nature. Our mind and the ability to create and form thoughts, which will manifest, is the link we have to the Divine – that which is God. This is why no matter the culture, the language, the people, the race – all have a curiosity of who or what is God. This is the commonality from the beginning of creation to now, between all people, the search for who or what is God.

So speech and action, coming through thought forms, inspiration, creativity, or artistry, are all from the mental plane, which is a part of our Higher Selves, and our connection to our source, which is God. So if, through thought, you can create an action or speech, then through thought, you can create your own reality. Sickness, death, and all problems of the world, are created by human beings themselves. These are not the natural plans of the Divine Source for the Earth’s inhabitants, but we call them into being through our mental process.

A person who continues to harp on his impoverished state of being has created his own reality, and even if he is warned not to continue saying he is poor, and he tries to heed to the warning, but he still remains in the same condition, then he is only heeding to the warning – not believing in the warning, and therefore nothing changes. Again, All is Mind and Mind is all.

A person who continues to harp on being depressed, or sick, or any other negative, has created that energy and the problem stays because you believe it. This can even become your children’s legacy, because children live what they learn, so if the child grows into a negative environment, then this becomes apart of their make up, consciously and subconsciously. Someone has to be to born within the family to break this mindset, and this can also can be likened to a generational curse – a curse brought forth by the family member who mentally created it.

A child somewhere far deep in the villages of Africa, from the time he can speak will tell his parents: “I will be rich. I will be King. People will know me all over the world.” No one has taught him this, this just comes out of him naturally. The villagers will laugh and pay no mind to him, and parents will sometimes urge him to be quiet, but still, he continues. At age 10 or 12, he is in the field playing football, and there, passing through his village on that particular day, is someone who stops and sees a talent within this child. He is then groomed, shaped, taken from the village, trained, and one day becomes a huge athletic star. There is nothing that he doesn’t have.

But where did that come from? He created it. And this is possible.

One of the most important things for all human beings to know, is this principle, because it teaches us how to use our mental plane for our greater good. Always remember that you create your own reality, watch your speech, watch your actions, manage your thoughts.

The Principle Of Mentalism

This principle embodies the truth that “All is Mind”. It explains that THE ALL (which the Substantial Reality underlying all the outward manifestations and appearances which we know under the terms of “The Material Universe”; the “Phenomena of Life”; “Matter”; “Energy”; and in short, all that is apparent to our material senses) is SPIRIT, which in itself is UNKNOWABLE and UNDEFINABLE, but which may be considered and thought of as AN UNIVERSAL, IN-FINITE, LIVING MIND. It also explains that all the phenomenal world or universe is simply a Mental Creation of THE ALL, subject to the Laws of Created Things, and that the universe, as a whole, and in its parts or units, has its existence in the mind of THE ALL, in which Mind we ” live and move and have our being”. This Principle, by establishing the Mental Nature of the Universe, easily explains all of the varied mental and psychic phenomena that occupy such a large portion of the public attention, and which, without such explanation, are non-understandable and defy scientific treatment. An understanding of this great Hermetic Principle of Mentalism enables the individual to readily grasp the laws of the Mental Universe, and to apply the same to his well-being and advancement. The Hermetic student is enabled to apply intelligently the great Mental Laws, instead of using them in a haphazard manner. With the Master-Key in his possession, the student may unlock the many doors of the mental and psychic temple of knowledge, and enter the same freely and intelligently. This Principle explains the true nature of “Energy”, “Power”, and Matter,” and why and how all these are subordinate to the Mystery of Mind. One of the Old Hermetic Masters wrote,long ages ago: “He who grasps the truth of the Mental Nature of The Path to Mastery” is possible, and the student knocks in vain at the many doors of the Temple.
