When Bad Spirits Come Calling – Places Malevolent Spirits Dwell

Imagine being home, let’s say you’re cooking waiting for the children to come home from school. You’re a housewife. You know the mailman comes every afternoon to drop mail into your mailbox between the hours of 1-2PM.

The children get home by 3:30. But on one particular day, between watching television and watching the food on the stove and waiting for the children to arrive… an eerie strange feeling comes over you. The doorbell rings. It’s the mailman with a package that can not fit in the mailbox. You go outside, sign for the package, and return inside, but that strange feeling persists.

Perhaps if you’re prayerful or religious, you may pray. If you’re present in your life, you may pray about this feeling. Or let’s say, in this particular instance, you ignore it completely. All of a sudden, when the children arrive home, and the husband arrives in the evening, the whole house turns upside down. Everyone begins to argue and fight. You perhaps have no idea where this has all come from. But you don’t question it. Things begins to change within your household ever since that day.

Let’s walk back just a moment.

You felt an eerie feeling, your mood changed and you became a little cross, and even more so when you had to leave your television show to get a package from the mailman. And then later, the crazy disturbance in your home between everyone. Since then, the house has not been peaceful.

There are many things that can create strange personality behaviors or discontent within a home. In the case above, bad spirits has entered the space via the mailman who came knocking. I’ll explain how.

In case you’re wondering, no this is not obeah, juju, witchcraft, etc.

And in the case above, it’s not even energy transference.

It’s simply the case of malevolent beings who perhaps, when you began to feel what you felt, were passing through your area at that precise time. This coordinated with the eerie feeling and the mailman who needed to deliver a package. When you stepped outside to receive that package, the malevolent energies tagged you (or the woman) and has now stepped into her once clean and peaceful home. They have decided to settle and wait to create their havoc.

You may wonder why her? Did this affect the mailman as well?

Often times when bad spirits come calling, anybody or anywhere that has that particular energy that is the same as them – corroded and confused, dark, dismal, and dirty – the malevolent are not interested in this sort of space or person. Their essence has already overshadowed these kinds of people (or spaces). They want to create the imbalance where there is cleanliness, peace, family, togetherness, love…

In this scenario the mailman may be okay. He may hate his job already. He may hate walking up and down everyday. Therefore, he becomes of no interest to these malevolent energies. However, here is the seemingly happy homemaker. Her home is clean, sweet smelling food on the stove, and peace is within. This woman becomes the target because the malevolent energies seek to create destruction and separation.

There are always two main forces that come within the space of the inhabitants of this earth realm. These forces are malevolent and benevolent. Some are natural energies that have never had bodies but were created for these purposes, for the betterment of mankind and for the ruination of mankind.

These energies were created so that mankind, or human beings, can not only operate in this chaotic world trying to balance themselves, but they are (especially those malevolents) a necessary force to keep us sharp on our toes and to allow us to understand our journey. The benevolent ones, of course, are needed. Both of these energies create balance. Some call them good and evil. But often times, what human beings do not understand is that it is the forces of evil that are our greatest teachers. It is human emotion that disables us from seeing this.

They are the ones that are given the task for us to find and know who or what is our divine. A person must go through hardships in order to find light. Let me tell you of a peculiar story which occurred during the last stages of my awakening…

This happened at a time when I was to choose the spiritual road I walk. Would I walk with the dark forces? Or would I walk with those of light? During this time of my choosing, spirits would come to me, like giving me a resume of who they are (this is the best way to explain it). They would come for me to choose whether or not I would work with them and have them as a part of my spiritual family.

Now please note that I was a young spiritualist then, not even practicing the craft that I had just been thrust into, so it would be likened to a president choosing his team to bring into the oval office. When these spirits came, they didn’t declare that they were benevolent or malevolent.

But on one particular morning, around 6AM, I was stirred awake by a voice.

“Si Ruthibel an’ har fren dem ah come” (Look, Ruthibel and her friends are coming). “You can choose her if you want.”

Before the word “want” was uttered, this “Ruthibel” came bursting through the door like a force of wind.

I want to let you see as I saw that day, so travel with me for just a moment.

As I laid propped up against my pillow, hearing a voice speak to me, a familiar voice but a face I didn’t know. My eyes were transfixed on my bedroom door when this force entered. It would seem like a translucent bubble that was huge and formless. The force came with such a palpable energy that the room felt heavy and filled with a mass amount of people.

“Yes, it is I Ruthibel,” she said with an authoritative voice.

Her voice held such power that it seemed to vibrate the bed I lied on. She then thrust a very old looking newspaper article on my chest. To say that I was in a trance or in between sleep and wake would probably best describe how I was at this moment.

“Look here,” she said pointing to the very ancient piece of newspaper article. “You see this man?”

The “man” she pointed to was a white man with black curly hair. In his side profile image, he wore an aristocratic black suit of ancient times.

“His grandfather had plenty lands, a lot of properties. He wanted the properties for himself, and so he began to kill the grandfather slowly by poisoning his food. But, I, Ruthibel saw it, and so I gave him fever and pain so he would desist from taking something that would eventually have been his had he had the patience to wait.”

Now let me pause here for a minute.

During this time I had just began to attend the revival churches and I remember that at certain times during the “jumping” (a way of invoking spirits), they would shout out “Ruthibel just come in!” and then all others would try to drive this spirit away, not wanting to “work” with her. When church was finished, they would have conversations among themselves. ‘Did you see Ruthibel come in?‘ ‘She was a bad spirit and loved to do wickedness‘. No one entertained her. They only sought to run her away when ever she came to spiritual parties. Some were even afraid of her.

Back in my room, the memory of church came to me suddenly. I immediately began to chant a particular psalms that I knew would drive her away from my presence. She left with her entourage.

There are times in life when we pick up bad spirits just walking along life’s way. All of a sudden our lives change and things that a person had never thought of doing before, they now begin to do. Some people who were trying to keep to a path of a respectable life may turn to criminality. A young studious woman may suddenly think of prostitution. An old woman may become a kleptomaniac. A husband may decide to leave his wife and family suddenly.

Life just turns upside down without warning and chaos becomes a part of a persons everyday life. And of course it is understandable for some with knowledge to wonder if this could be obeah, but if a diviner is competent enough, he would realise that bad spirits has entered this persons life and has created confusion and destruction. There are many places to pick up these bad spirits naturally – and I’ll tell you a few of them…

Places Malevolent Spirits Naturally Dwell

1. Hospitals. (Hospital workers or visitors, remove your clothing before you enter your home or sitting on your bed. This will limit the amount (if any) of malevolent spirits that come with you. Note that malevolent spirits don’t ever walk alone. They walk in families.)
2. Psychiatric Hospitals
3. Police Stations (If one gets arrested, never go into your home with these clothes. Drop them at the door. Leave that energy there. Keep this in mind also if you are ever stopped by the police. Bad spirits are attached to any areas of law enforcement. It doesn’t matter if the officer is a good person with good intentions, they automatically attach negative spirits. Why? Think about it. The officer walks with gun, taser, authority and power from the government to restrain any human being. Malevolent spirits feed from this type of energy. If police is called to a particular residence once, watch how many times for that year, police will return unless that space is spiritually cleansed. This also happens to anyone who comes in contact with police. The experience will surely return unless they are cleansed.)

5. Markets (outdoor markets)
6. Subways or mass transits
7. Stadiums or areas with large crowds
8. Church or Synagogue (Not all spirit possessions are “Holy Ghosts”. Due to the mournful energies of many churches, Malevolents are attracted and even summoned to these environments.)
9. Abandoned buildings and old ancient schools with old architectures
10. Airports

As I always mention, be present in your lives to know and realize when the normal becomes abnormal, something is at play.
