A BEAUTIFUL LIFE

When life seem dark and your path seems dreary, hold on to hope, your faith, your dream and your God, your belief. Always remember this too shall pass. Keep a positive mind, do not become confused and fearful when things begin to fall apart, always remember to pray. It matters not your belief, or even if you are unsure if there is an unseen being, a higher power, which resides above or below. Know that your very existence shows that there is greater than you somewhere, create that energy within your own mind, if you do not want to conform to what is known as religion, and hold steadfast to it, pray that all will be well, believe your prayer and know that it is done.

As a child, I grew up listening to Jim Reeves. My parents and also the radio on Sundays would play his Christian songs. Back then I practiced Christianity, but even if you didn’t, Jim Reeves voice was so soothing, you had to listen and sing along. Some songs were happy, some were sad, but his voice, made you sing along regardless. Some  months ago, I woke up with Jim Reeves singing in my head, the song was a Beautiful Life. I did not know at the time that that was the name of the song, but thank God for google. I listen to the words of what was singing and typed it in and there it was, lyrics and all.

“A Beautiful Life”

Each day I’ll do a golden deed
By helping those who are in need
My life on earth is but a span
And so I’ll do the best I can
Life’s evening sun is sinking low
A few more days and I must go
To meet the deeds that I have done
Where there will be no setting sun
While going down life’s weary road
I’ll try to lift some traveler’s load
I’ll try to turn the night to day
Make flowers bloom along the way
Life’s evening sun is sinking low
A few more days and I must go
To meet the deeds that I have done
Where there will be no setting sun…

I put up all three different versions, because I also like the other two apart from Jim’s own.
So when I heard the song, I call someone into my room, and told them the song I heard. I knew it was a message, I am an knowledgeable elder and I know when the Universe wants to give you a message it can come in any form. Music is the most common way, along with dreams and visions. So if you hear music begin playing in your head without you thinking about it, or if you keep hearing a particular song through out the day on the radio, television or otherwise, pay attention to the lyrics, sing it if you can, and receive your message.
People I am teaching you, take heed. My enemies are even reading and learning (oonuh ole thrush out ole dranco), this is why you can never conquer me, because I am doing God’s work (teaching my fellow humans) while you are busy fighting me. Let mi catch miself, lol. Set of fools oonuh!
I sang the song the whole day, searched for it and played it on you tube. I knew that the messenger was telling me that a death message had been sent out for me, and that I should be careful. I didn’t fear, because I know my belief and I know God, so I prayed. In revival/zion they always say “watch and pray”. I saw the revelation play out that same night, but I am glad mi still deh bout. Man believe that they are Gods, and in some ways man can create (humans create),so we are, in a very small way, but not like or nothing in comparison with the almighty ALL who made the heavens and it firmaments.
As I have written before in other posts, “You cannot be spiritually strong, if you do face or go through challenges”. This is the harsh realities of life. Yesterday blogger Yazzy said in the other post, that expecting and accepting these challenges as the natural part of life, is a hard thing, a very hard pill to swallow, and it is, I agree. I have had to wake up to this fact very fast, but what makes it easier for me, is that I know that these thing must happen as we journey along life’s way. Yet think about it, we are not alone, this alone should be comforting, the fact that we have guides, spirit helpers, who come to us in visions and dreams, who sends messages in songs or through people of what to expect and even how to solve it. Do not tell me any crap that you do not believe in any spirit, and no spirit nuh de, or my own Jamaicans who love to say, “mi nuh believe in dem tings dere”, yet they are in church every Sunday morning, praising a God they have never seen, who happens to be spirit!
John 4:24- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Jesus gave up to ghost thousands of years ago, and people still worship and praise him, keep an altar for him, venerate him and glorify him, and he, while on earth according to the Christian bible (although he was a Jew) did miraculous things, things that modern day prophets are still doing. After all he had promised to leave one third of his power which is the holy ghost, nuh suh? The bible went as far as to say this:

Romans 8:26-27 “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.  And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”

Do not deny spirit or spiritual things because of you not understanding your own religion or religious teachings. Or perhaps you have a Pastor who cannot deliver the word properly, one who is shrouded in fear and not faith, and leads his sheeps into darkness instead of light. Let me not go off topic, as I tend to do when I get to the topic of religion and the mis-teachings and mis-interpretations of the Bible and its laws, (which most often was the law of the land in those times) leading people astray, keeping them in darkness and asleep.

This is suppose to be a short post. I want to encourage you all to keep up, do not slouch or let go. Hold your heads up high, have faith. Do unto others as you would like others to do unto you. If by chance you are told by your head to do the wrong thing, pause and thing about it, listen to the voice of reason which we all have. Give a helping hand to those in need, and never talk about it, or tek it cuss people. Be truthful, faithful, loyal, trustworthy, compassionate, kind. Be an inspiration, and if life has been hard on you and you see no hope, reach out to someone for help, put pride to the side. Talk about your problems, do not take your life, talk to me for God’s sake, I will listen! Look out for other peoples children as you journey along life’s way. If you see a child in distress or in need of help, do so, do not say “it’s not my business”. If you pass a homeless or a beggar on the street, give, if you can. Try not to down others, especially if you see them going through their own trials. This world will never come to an end, It is a continuum and will always be, but we are shifting, the earth is shifting, going on toward a new dimension, hopefully the fifth, so things will get harder for some and easier for others, but this is contingent on how we live our lives and how we communicate with each other and our respect for our realm.

Listen to the song, which was a message for me at the time I heard it, but the lyrics are beautiful, and life is indeed beautiful, no matter what you are facing. You only leave the world, when you are ready, and you are only ready when YOU give up. Always remember this. If you tell yourself, even if you are at deaths door, that you do not want to go anywhere, you will live, I am sure of this.

Good day Obara! Another great post. Words whether sung or written speak volumes to us. I recall that you said this is how the elders or ancestors convey messages and warnings to us. When I found your blog I was at a low point but your words that I read here provided me with renewed faith, strength and life lessons. It opened my eyes regarding the evil people do to each other. Blessings to you and your family always!

Prosperity, keep strong it will be allright.

A beautiful morning to you Obara and thanks for another much needed post. This morning I woke up feeling weak and discouraged, but I am fighting the feeling. I had not the strenght to go into a long prayer, but I asked God for Strenght and gave thanks for my life and the daily mercies.

I remember I had a horrible Christmas and the new year saw me in the dumps. However, the 1st of Jan I decided to pray off the despair. Shortly after prayer a song that I hadn’t heard in ages came to me. Tevin Campbell’s tomorrow. I found it on YouTube and played it the whole day. Yes tomorrow will bring a better you a better me and we should never give up on our hopes and our dreams. That being said, I’m on the bus going to the library cause these last 2 assignments will be done and mi a go palav in a mi cap and gown come October.

Obara large up babygirl fi yet aneda darn good post that’s always TIMELY! If you can’t touch at least ONE soul a day… you have done your dutty for the day. Sometimes all someone needs is a RAY OF HOPE….. A KIND WORD….. A GOOD LAUGH….. A WARM EMBRACE….. A MINISTERING SONG AIMED AT THE SOUL….. any one. Sometimes someone only needs to see the LIGHT…. the light from one good soul by being in their presence or hearing their voice or a quick message from them….. the light from a discovery of something positive they have done or plan to do for that day or have done in the past….. the light from what they exude…. the light from a new born baby…. the light from a sunrise…. the light from a sunset….. the light from a beautiful full moon….. the light from a genuine love affair with that sparkling beam in one’s eyes…. I could go on and on….

Yuh get me??

I AN IN TOTAL LOVE WITH THE TITLE OF THE POST…..

A BEAUTIFUL LIFE!

For it is indeed the single most beautiful gift given to man…. in spite of its “flaws” Some would agree there is no flaw to life for in its flaws are where some of its treasured beauty lies.

Just keep tough it out yo!

Bless up all my sweeties.
