Good day everyone, I pray all is well for one and all. I recently created a new page which you will see in the navigation called ‘Contribute a Post‘. This page will allow all and sundry or whomever wants to contribute a post to Embracing Spirituality. It can be of an experience, a lesson learned, knowledge shared, or anything on a spiritual topic that you may want to discuss. As you can see with this blog, I, Obara Meji, am opened and vulnerable by sharing truthfully my experiences in life which I have chosen to teach from.
The blog and my posts have been well received by many since I began blogging in 2011. I took a two year break from blogging, wondering at them time if I was doing the right thing by being so open and telling my life to the world, and of course on the internet. But received many emails within that span of disappearance of people telling me how inspired they were by my stories, that I eventually returned to blogging and created a wonderful family here.
I have often received emails from many people who tell me that it seems as if I am speaking directly to them, and although there are times while I write, especially posts that brings me into memory of painful experiences which I have gone through in my life, and tears fall onto my keyboard as I type, I know that what I am doing is providing a service in my own way to humanity, and also for the spiritual evolution (enlightenment) for all who would be lucky enough to read the posts.
I have no need to be pretentious, therefore I stand in my truth as I am present in my life and I urge you to do the same by contributing a post which may be something you want to share anonymously or just to have a discussion (open dialogue) with other bloggers, or possibly on topics you may want to learn more of. I am offering you the chance to have a view, an audience, and other people’s perspective on what you choose to share.
Please take advantage of it, just know that I will review it before publishing, making sure that it’s suitable for this kind of blog.
Also if there are questions that you need to know about life or anything you need to understand spiritually, even if it is in question form, you can write it as a post for not only me to discuss it with you but for others to have input. Again, you can do this anonymously.

There are so many things I want to write about and do not know where to start. I am just going to go before the keyboard and let my keyboard and mind just do whatever it feels like. I have so many huge decisions like do I write in Patios or do I write in standard English, since this is a post for everyone? Do I write like a scholar or do I keep it simple? Just write whatever come about. My mind will calm down next week so I can contribute. For now I’ll tell you that my Grammy gone at 100++++. Weeks before I notice that the birds weren’t nesting soundly at nights. One night before the week that she passed the birds flew out a tree around 11:00 pm….long story short I learned that birds a night means impeding death.
Funeral was excellent. I teared up, but never cried because I would feel ungrateful to oldumare and our Ancestors.

Teach, I am really doing well. Get early and a get mi fast on. I fasted from 6-6 yesterday and felt so good. Mi dayeven di feel hungry.
