With the exception of the dieties, do mediums have control over who they can conjure up? I’ve seen tv mediums (no disrespect here) channel their client’s loved ones all the time, is it actually the loved ones they’re receiving messages from or is it just a random omniscient spirit unbeknownst to the medium?

This depends on how competent the medium is. A medium is subject to all and every spirit wanting to communicate through them. The televisions ones I am not sure about, because I do not believe most of them. I am a medium and it is not one of the most difficult gifts God can bestow in anyone. Good question.

Blessings Ms. Obara! I really liked this post. When I was growing up- I grew up Christian (Pentecostal at that), the concept of heaven and hell plagued me. I wanted to know why can’t we just be good for goodness’ sake? I figured that the creator would take care of the rest after that. Through IFA- I found and learned more about Iwa Pele- where my consciousness is as of now it simply means (to me) being good for goodness’ sake as a way of life. As a way of being. Thank you IFA for finding me!!! Thank you Olodumare, my Ori, ancestors and guides for leading me here. To partake in the outpouring of your knowledge and goodness. Asé.

Wonderful read Ms. Obara! I can’t help but feel sorry for Madda Mackie, because maybe she would have thought twice if she knew the kind of covenant she had entered in. But then again, she chose to walk on the side of dark and vengeance because she wanted to know how to protect her family from evil.. but Lord have mercy— walking in the light would have given her the knowledge to protect her family. So now that she has set her soul group back what are they to do?

Below is a Haitian video of the invocation of Papa Legba. I have not watched it all but please enjoy. (He arrives around @2:33 – watch the woman when she shows him her ring, she is showing him that she is “married to him” or an initiate, and he blesses the union by spewing rum on the ring, therefore transferring his own energy onto her, watch her catch spirit during this interaction. It is fascinating to see the transference of energy – which can never be destroyed, only transferred).

Hi obara, oh wow I went through a similar thing with my daughter as a young mum I also fought for my daughter. I had to fight for so much for her. It was hard I also had a second child to look after. In the uk you can choose weather to send your child to a mainstream school or for your child to attend a special needs school. My daughter remained in mainstream school. I also paid for tutors for my daughter.
I became very close with a tutor who was also a teacher who new other teachers I could go to her for advice. she supported me and was very helpful.
