This Thursday August 28th, 2014 in our book club discussion, Blogger Yw will be the moderator. The book, which is extremely short you will find within the post, please be here and ready. This first discussion on Walter Rodney’s book How Europe Underdeveloped Africa, was moderated by our Lalibela Nile and it was excellent, I must apologize for my running in and out but I had my plate full, nevertheless the turn out and interaction was outstanding, kudos to you all. Knowledge is Key and so we push forward to the next, please be on time as we aim to begin @ 8 pm.

Questions:1. Does this culture seem primitive?
2. Do you think the charms and magical potions used by the Nacirema really work?
3. To what extent can you identify with the article?
4. Who are the Nacirema?

Above will be the topic for next week, again please prepare your selves, Yw has out lined these questions which we will answer and share in the discussions with him this Thursday coming up, it shall be fun, of that I am sure!

Please remember that if you have a book Idea for the club submit them to my email, and also be prepared to moderate, if you cannot moderate some else will pick up the slack, but it is best if a book is suggested by you then you should have the floor that evening.

Thank you all for the turn out tonight, God Bless you All!

Salutations and exultations my esteemed colleagues. Today is test day and invigilators will be going around to ensure that there is no copying (TY) – AH JOKE MI AH MEK!!! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHE Alright serious time now:
Hey All! You may ask, “What does this essay have to do with Spirituality?” Well…it may help to explore ideas of perspective, self-reflection, imagination, memory, and other thoughts that are important in attaining a greater level of enlightenment (in my opinion).
It is an opinion based discussion, so the objective is just to get us to share our thoughts and to, perhaps, enhance them to a deeper level. It is linked to our last book club discussion in that the marketing of a thing affects our perspective and so we must guard our minds against this. Shit molded into an intricate design and packaged beautifully is still shit.
Thank you all in advance for helping to enhance my thoughts through sharing yours in this upcoming discussion. I apologize if my opinions offend anyone because that is never my intention and take no offense to any of your opinions. UNNO TEK TIME WID ME….mi tell unno seh mi bruise easy enuh…
To help with the flow of the discussion I ask that we try to post all our answers for the questions by 8:20 and then the real discussion will begin. Talk to you all soon…

Morning Obara Meji! Morning sweet people! Blessings, love and light to all. Last night was very exciting. I love this new journey we embark on in oneness with an open mind.

I had a friend with me whom I exposed to our unity here and to our book club discussion last night and needless to say they had a blast from reading the book (not all) and from watching the videos with me.. and me verbalize some of the comments. I saw the spark that went off and the interest that peaked and got heightened, weirdly, from just having only been dictated to on what to do! HOWEVER I was careful not to invite them to the blog just YET… (just in case is a stalka! Lol **covers face**)

Love and appreciate you all here! My my sweet baba Obatala embrace you all with his fatherly love!

Ps, learn mi a learn. .. anuh jerk mi de jerk!
