Obara I have been a catholic since birth, I was seen to be a priest but it never happened because it never interested me but my quest to know who I am led me to you, and since I have been wanting to know more about my origin. I will like to consult ifa to know my true path in life and I will like to have a spiritual mentor.

The quality of the information presented here is superb. I have experienced some of which you have mentioned, so there is much that I can relate to.

I can recall spending an extended period with a great spiritualist, and in that time, I was exposed to a lot. My eyes were extremely sensitive to the sun, I couldn’t go outside without experiencing excruciating pain and watery eyes. Since then, I’ve had to adjust the light on all devices and get extra transition lenses.

The vividness of my dreams fluctuate but are more consistent when I am deliberately “in tune”. Also, I have had to stop attending funerals and visiting the hospital. It had become too much of a burden.

Questions

Based on the responsibility associated with honing spiritual gifts, even to the point of operating as a practitioner – Can the human decide to only use/develop a specific gift or even refuse the gift/s and opt to have a “regular life”?

What are the implications for the spirit should one attempt to treat the symptoms/manifestations medically?

My Gosh do you need to have all these 7 symptoms? I have all except #4(Hand) issues. Recently like within the last year my eyes have become so sensitive I dare not leave the house without my shades and two weekends ago I had the strangest pain for 3 days in my lower right stomach, it just went away on its own but it was the strangest feeling ever!
I also from a very young age would have ringing in my ear and even now once in awhile I would get ringing for a couple hours and it goes away. I wouldn’t even begin to talk about migraine because I have always suffered from them because I was born with sinus problems that persist till today. No sinus/ allergy meds can and have ever alleviated this problem throughout my life.
I have no idea if this is all coincident or related to your post.

Hi Sister Obara!!! Glad to see the post. I read the no sleep without light post recently as well. Serious thing I love sleep in total darkness. LOL I have been leaving the smallest of lights on in my room. From this post I got 3, 5 no frigging dreams and 6. I am used to no dreams but it can be perplexing. How long does the spiritual growth take O? Feel like I have been experiencing the 3rd eye open for a few years now and no dreams and back pain all my days..

Wow I remember one time going with my boyfriend at the time to get a “cleansing” I was still a skeptic at that time. But I went nonetheless and I wasn’t going to go in the room but the man told me to come and accompany who I came with. So I did. He did his cleanse and then told me that I needed to be cleansed but he can’t manage the work I need at that particular time because it would kill him. And I thought that’s strange. Benjamin from what you say you certainly have a gift. You should link with Obara and hone your skills. That dream you mentioned is rather creepy to me. But now even I am curious as to the message being sent to you if it was even a message at all. After all, you mentioned that you are fron the water realm and the well itself is a gateway to tbat realm. Is it a message to you that the person you knew is making his/her way back to the realm of the living via reincarnation? If the body parts are being fetched piece.by piece that shows a process/protocol occurring. If so then the other question is why reveal it to you unless somehow that person may need your protection once reincarnated or perhaps you will be that person’s tutor?

I appreciate you asking for guidance but I always tell people if someone gives you something to do and you do not understand, ask them. Do not be afraid of asking. My concern is I have always had recurring boils on my both eyes, antibiotics doesn’t stop the boils. They keep coming and going.please is this an indication that my spiritual eyes are opening

My mother would always tell me not to sleep in darkness and when my daughter was born every time that we spoke on the phone she would warn me not to make her sleep in the darkness. As usual no explanation is given but like most people who had elders in their life who had knowledge it was not passed down to her she just followed her grandmother ordered of no darkness.
3am. I know has powers- I use to wake up 3am every night for many years and even when I am wake now I always unconsciously know when its 3am. There is always a different scent in the air and a stillness I can’t explain.

Great post, O! Thankfully I have heeded your warnings and find myself more at peace during the nightly hours but it still freaks me out when I leave a light on at night then wake up in the morning and the light is out.

When I was a teenager, I had always thought that a little light at night will keep away duppy. lol
Recently, I’ve been trying to sleep in the dark because I felt that it would open up my spiritual sight.
Now, I am happy that you’ve brought this to our attention!!!

Growing up my older sister and I would constantly have “the devil holding us down “ in our sleep at night. We would be awake but not able to move. I would constantly have the same nightmares about loosing my sister and parents. And it was when I was sleeping in the dark! Even now when I am in deep thought and praying and writing my thoughts down , I fall asleep with the light on and have the best sleep! As opposed to when my husband turns off the tv and it is pitch black and I wake up in the middle of the night! And my dreams tend to be negative! Thanks for the enlightenment!

Wow very enlightening as usual. Thank you Obara. Please I would like to ask, what is it about the light that negatively affects the malevolent beings and/or the negative work they carry? Is it the fact that light beings are present?
Secondly, supposing a person is wide awake during the time these malevolent beings are sent, will the negative work still be successful whether or not the person is in complete darkness?

It’s interesting, for as young as I can remember, I do not sleep in darkness. I can’t sleep at all if it’s dark. My eyes would be wide open. I need some ilumination and the brighter the light, the better. I always have the room lit up, at the very least a small lamp beside my bed will be kept on all night, including lights along the corridor and stairwell. As a child, I didn’t like going to the village during school holidays, because of the lack of light during the night.

Suh yuh know mi well frighten when mi si dis post.
Mi read and decide seh well dis a sign suh mi aguh stop sleep inna dis heap a darkness.
Mi love a candle and I have a lot so I decided to light one at nights when going to bed (*container candles so yes I’m safe).
Yuh si before dis, mi usetuh dream one an two time but yuh si since mi start sleep wid di candle light a bere vivid dream mi a get.

It is always pleasing when we are able to utilize the lessons you teach and see improvements in our lives.

As I read this blog I can’t help but remember when things started to go haywire in my life. It was around 1993 my girlfriend at the time had gotten orders to go to Hawaii I remained in California we had a child together that was sent to my girlfriends mother to stay while she was over seas. I was young and wanted to play I soon befriend another woman and we became intimate. I went to Hawaii to visit my daughters mother and nothing went right we broke up during that time and a whole lot of negative thoughts and emotions i was feeling. I remember talking to a member of the church i grew up in an older woman who was a friend of the family I told her that I had dreams of snakes and i interpreted things to her from the bible that I felt pertain to the things I was experiencing at the time.
Now I know for sure that I was under attack. This was the beginning of my awakening.

Very insightful post. I used to love sleeping in complete darkness. I also had numerous dreams of snakes between 2012-2018, it was so strong at times my body will shake. Then I started leaving a little bit of light on, after reading this I’ll continue to follow the guideline. Thank you for all you do, I appreciate you very much. I have a passion for spirituality but I can’t voice it with the people around me they’ll start accusing me of “Shirk” (idolatry/polytheism) or I’m going astray.
