I tried my very best to understand what you wrote here and I realized that this was a prayer for me and for the work I am doing. To your prayer I say, Ase, Ase, Ase! Thank you my dear Mahalia. Initiation to Egbe is the best way of renegotiating the contract you have with them (please know that “initiation” is not actually what is happening in the case of Egbe. You are not being inducted into anything. The better word to use would be “receiving” Egbe). However, one can patch things up in the meantime, and by this I mean propitiating them. Of course, not by yourself but through a competent person (Babalawo or Iyanifa) who has the knowledge to do so.
It is important to point out that Egbe is not Orisha, but your Astral Mates, and like it or not, they must be attended to.

So many things in this post speaks to me. We truly have a lot of negativity buried in our subconscious. I too used to feel like I’m dating the same people over and over until I told myself I deserved better. It wasn’t until then that people who had better to offer started showing up. Even my friendships started improving. It’s not going to happen all of a sudden it’s a journey and we have to, through patience and affirmation, erase the blockages from the subconscious.

To go into Jagun and Egbe Eleeko is to go into depths of this where Egbe initiations is concerned and most people here would not get what it all is about, also if persons are not practioners there is no need and frankly this may be for classes I will do one day on the subject, but only to people spiritually advanced, Jagun must be present at any or all Egbe initiations, and this information is good enough for now., Eleeko, I will not touch on here. Somethings must be left sacred.

Great question. A spirit has the ability to split itself into multiple pieces. So One spirit, but many aspect of itself. When this spirit descend into human form of course it carries its own Ori/head (.A man can die and at the same time he is being born either into his own family or somewhere else.)
In the world of spirit it knows who it is, in our limited world of illusion and experience, ( the earth being a school) it does not. This post really struck a nerve with me and will have to read it a couple times but so much more makes sense. My enemy has had an issue with bottling up things and no matter how I try to say I’m thinking positively the subconscious hasn’t been clear n sadness or anger brings everything to the fore.

On the part of relationships and friendships my event has always been loner, can’t seem to maintain friendships unless there’s physical distance, relationships never worked etc, the last guy I dated shared birthday with the last guy I was in a relationship with years before, when he told me his DOB, I knew something was off n it felt like I was in that previous relationship all over again. Now I get it, well trying to. Obara your blog is so important. Love and light and blessings to you and yours !

I have always felt this. And up to this morning. I was not fully up but I had to jump up because I was running late. And as I woke up oddly my mind was on getting a q-tip which is kept behind a mirrored medicine cabinet and I went straight to the bathroom and instead reached for the bathroom door to look behind it which is on the complete opposite side of the medicine cabinet. And I recall saying to myself yeah your spirit is still in another realm that is mirroring this one which is why I looked where I looked. I know this comment probably won’t make sense to anyone one. But for me it makes sense and it allows me to feel and understand what you Ms. Obara are teaching in this post.

Good post as always Obara. I grasped it easily. What I am especially glad that you revealed was the part about how we can know things even though we have no knowledge/experience of it in this plane of existence. I never really looked at it like that as I basically chalked it up to collective consciousness which, to me, is a dumbed down version of what you revealed and what Ivory said.

For those that may find this difficult to grasp then I would recommend watching “The One” starring Jet Li as it is the closest thing that comes to mind when thinking about this post.
