Following the theme of yesterday’s post, which I thought was a good post, I am moved to share some thoughts with you all, should you care to look today.
The topic yesterday highlighted the submissiveness and docility in some women and women accepting certain situations in their lives, regardless of their own feelings, though not conducive to their spirit, or who they were meant to be just because they feel the need to have a husband, boyfriend, or feed a culture which dictates to them that this is the way it should be, married and pregnant, subservient because you are a woman, being seen and not heard. Unfortunately this is the plight of many women in different cultures.
I posed some questions regarding this, and I am thankful to all the bloggers who responded and who were honest, kudos to you all!
There is something brewing, but this is not the post for that, but know that there is a conspiracy against women, in many ways, but I will do a post about this another time. Do not criticize what you may not understand!
As I wrote the story yesterday, I asked myself How does this post tie in with Embracing Spirituality the blog and everything spiritual?
But everything in this world is in connection with spirit, the spirit is the motivator of all things! My non-physicals are always with me, always teaching me, often times in ways I do not even recognize. This happens to all of us daily. We learn every day, through many different mediums, messages comes to us all the time, but they are often times missed, because we pay no attention to them, and it is mainly because we do not recognize them.
We as human beings, we should never allow anyone to dim our lights, tower over our presence, our spirits, to rule us spiritually and physically. We should stand on our own stage, and we will be the ones who determine who will share the lights with us, but that is a choice reserved for us!
We are all born with a certain radiance regardless of the circumstances concerning our birth. As a matter of fact, and this is how the Universe works, the harder the circumstances surrounding a child’ birth and growth the more radiant they become as they travel along life’s way.
This is a quote from President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, declaration speech in 2010;
“I was not born rich, and in my youth, I never imagined that I would be where I am today, but not once did I ever give up. Not once did I imagine that a child from Otuoke, a small village in the Niger Delta, will one day rise to the position of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I was raised by my mother and father with just enough money to meet our daily needs.
In my early days in school, I had no shoes, no school bags. I carried my books in my hands but never despaired; no car to take me to school but I never despaired. There were days I had only one meal but I never despaired. I walked miles and crossed rivers to school every day but I never despaired. Didn’t have power, didn’t have generators, studied with lanterns but I never despaired.
In spite of these, I finished secondary school, attended the University of Port Harcourt, and now hold a doctorate degree.
Fellow Nigerians, if I could make it, you too can make it!

Confidence and self assurance should be apart of your character, Not everyone was born to lead, some will have to follow, but choose carefully who or what you follow, with all decisions in your life, you should have the final say according to the guidance of your head, your Ori (your inner consciousness).
Always know that you can never be another person or live their lives, remember we are all old souls here on a journey, and our lives have already been planned out, we only have to pray to find our life path, so waste no time, seek your life path, your head will lead the way.
Even a submissive woman or man have a voice,allow no one to take advantage of you in anyway, you do not have to shout to be heard.
Prayer is a key to the heart and ears of the Divine, use it!
Embrace your power within, it is there.
Always treat people with kindness and respect, being a bully earns you no respect, and shortens one’s life! You do not have to prove strength by trying to dominate everyone, though the Lion sleeps quietly under the tree in the jungle, he is still King of the forest!
Tell someone you love them today, love is the single most significant element of happiness.
Never rejoice over someone who is hurting, today for them tomorrow for you, if you rejoice, the universe will compensate you, it will be your own suffering, .
Love your parents no matter what they have done, forgive them, let God be the judge.
Love your children, treat them equally, if you favor one, do not let it show, therefore affecting the others.
Be positive in your life and own your truth, own your truth, own your truth, you are not weird, not matter your fixations, or thoughts, just unique, that is all, own your truth!
Self denial wrecks lives, be astute and present in your life.
Pay attention to your life.
Take a moment out of your day, every day to meditate, be with your self, connect with yourself, with your higher self
Take daily walks, to clear your mind, and connect with nature, pay attention as you walk, be aware and you will see how much you will learn.
Learn to speak your mind, it will free you, however be wise about it, often times we convict people in our minds believing that they are our enemies, maybe you have heard that they have said something about you or hurt you in some way but it is hear say, you are not sure, or maybe it is just your own feeling which have put you at odds with certain persons. Wait until you are calm, then request an audience with the person, perhaps having an intelligent mediator with you and release your mind, in the most benevolent way. Also learn to listen, and remember that sorry is the pathway to forgiveness, and we all need forgiveness at some point in our lives, never think you are to big to say sorry.
Never hurry your life, it is a reason you took nine months to enter this world, you have already been taught patience there is no excuse.
I LOVE YOU ALL;
OBARA MEJI!

Yesterday post was Great! This world has made women look and feel bad. We can’t do nothing. We have really been strip of our powers. There are so many lies out her about us. We have to know who we are as women then embrace it and flaunt ( I might have spelled it wrong) it. ☺️

Hi Nunu and Joy, you know I made a post and posted it today,, it is the one below this. ( I always share my feelings, do nit ridicule me, please) But as I posted the post and went to lay down, I have the… Read more »
